I adopted my cat from them in 2021, back when I was still a student at A&M. The staff remained as Aspen's veterinary care until I graduated and moved to San Antonio, and were the absolute best people he could have had for that role! They loved him dearly, and were so patient and kind to me. He was given the most wonderful care possible, and they were so helpful to me as a student/young adult with limited income, which I will always be grateful for. Content warning: Pet loss In particular, I will always be grateful for Dr. Hannes, Lauren, and Andrea for giving me the most kind and gentle help even as Aspen was hundreds of miles away, and I had called in a last-ditch effort to save his life. They continued to love him as their own long after we had moved, and I'll always remember how Dr. Hannes took the time to examine his blood work despite being in a different city, and call to offer condolences after Aspen passed. This clinic is full of helpful, intelligent, and loving people who will give your companion the best care possible. If I ever find myself back in College Station, they will always be my first call.
We’re lucky to have a lot of vets around town, but this place is my favorite! I love that the staff knows me and my dogs, and the vets and vet techs do a great job explaining treatment, procedures, and pricing options (in detail!). I have an old dog and a dog with epilepsy, so their care and attention is so important to me. When I had to go to the ER at night, they reached out to check in after TAMU small animal hospital sent the records over :) definitely recommend!
We called most of the vets in town but found Aggieland Animal Health Centre to be the best in regards to information they provide and how helpful they were. Upon bringing our new Puppy Pug Luna to the vet, we were greeted with a very friendly and professional atmosphere. I could tell everyone there truly loved animals and I felt our pet was in amazing hands. The doctor was very informative and had a vast wealth of knowledge, experience and we will be transferring our other Pug here too strictly due to how amazing the experience was. Thank you!! ❤️🐶
EDIT 2024: We have moved all of our animals to a new vet. We brought in a puppy that we rescued. I asked them to test for parvo. They said "oh this dog does not have parvo!" I asked again for a test. It came back positive. They instantly treated me like absolute garbage. They said I needed to go somewhere else. They still charged me for a full appointment even though they never did the exam or shots. They were bleaching the floor in front of me as I was crying and carrying my dog out. Horrible bedside manner. Our dog survived not thanks to them. We instantly moved all of our other animals to someone else. I literally cannot recommend this vet enough, anyone who asks me for a recommendation, I tell them to go here. During the shutdown in 2020, we found a stray 4 week old kitten and Aggieland was the only place in town I could get ahold of. They immediately scheduled us in and got our girl taken care of. They also did her spay because when comparing them to our vet at the time, the price covered way more. They provided calming wipes for us to do at home before she got there, did alot to help her anxiety, and kept her overnight. We moved our other cats over as well because of the customer service and quality. We recently rescued a puppy and unfortunately found out he had parvo. While they couldn't treat him, they recommended a place and called ahead to make sure the place knew I was on my way and explained to them what was happening so I was able to get my puppy faster care. They always welcome in my pets by name when I walk in the door, give all the treats and love, and have great customer service.
Year after year, my three kitties always come home healthier than before! The staff are extremely knowledgeable and have gotten the diagnosis right every time. They provide coherent documentation which makes it easy to file visits with my pet insurance agency. The staff even reach out via online messaging to check up on your companions after a recent visit. Splendid! :3
My dog had a medical issue. I called his normal vet and they told me it would be a week before they could see him. Then their normal vet said it sounded serious but could do anything until next week. I asked her if she was in pain and couldnt walk could you wait a week? I drove around college station and found Aggieland Animal Vet. They said they had several appointments as well but they insisted I bring my dog anyway for them to look at him and would work him in between other appointments. Within 30 min of me dropping off my dog they called me back and told me what was going on with him and treatment options. I was impressed. The staff was incredibly. I loved how the doctor took the time and personally called me back regarding the treat of my puppy. They have everything there. This was Juneau's first visit and he loved the staff and Doctors. My top pick for vet in college station. Thank you Aggieland
