This company started out phenomenal. We were going to move forward with our dogs ACL surgery. Paid our deposit and took our dog in. I am a nurse and if you are going to do a procedure you make sure the patient is ready and able to receive the surgery. They shaved our dog’s leg, put him under anesthesia then called and said oops he has a sore on his leg and we are concerned about the surgery and a potential infection. Why did the tech or MD not see this before they put him under anesthesia? We picked him up and they charged us for their error in not seeing the issue. We paid over 1200 for nothing. We got medication to treat his symptoms. They never once called us to ask how he was doing or when we were going to reschedule. Not one phone call. Never again. Will not recommend

I’m not sure I can completely express my gratitude and satisfaction with BOTV and their team. I took my 3 y/o Labrador there after he was cleared from TPLO surgery. He’s a big boy at 95lbs and he’s extremely active and he has damage in his other knee, so I was hoping and also skeptical that any sort of therapy would be beneficial but BOTV was recommended by my vet, so I made an appointment. Dr. Witten did an evaluation and pointed out what was needed with the plan being we would do another evaluation in 8 weeks. So every week for 8 weeks I took him to therapy and I continued to be hopeful yet skeptical. We had his evaluation and OMG! He has improved in every area we had identified as needing work. His muscle mass is back. His weight distribution is back to normal. His muscle tightness and overall gait is normal. All of the things i honestly didn’t know if we could really improve, improved. He will never be 100% but now he is the best version of himself and his quality of life is back to what it was pre-surgery. I’m writing all of this in case there is someone else out there trying to make a decision on the care for their pet so that they know that this just might work. I know it won’t work for everyone but I am so glad I did this and didn’t let my skepticism get the best of me. Thank you Dr. Witten and Jessie and the team for taking such great care of my boy.

We had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Borgmeyer and the tech staff. They were all knowledgeable in their positions and were great working with Zeva.

Really impressed with this clinic! Staff, tech, and doctor were very complimentary of my dog and easy to talk to. They spent plenty of time evaluating my dog and then educating me on the recommendations. The doctor seems very experienced in rehab. I really like the app, email reminders, etc. Back on Track came highly recommended by a local dog sport group, and I can see why!

STILL LIVING THE NIGHTMARE!! SAD SHE NEVER SHOWED COMPASSION! WORRIED ONLY TO KEEP HER MONEY! YOU PARALYZED MY DOG FROM THE NECK DOWN! FROM PUTTING SUBCUTANEOUS FLUID IN HIS NECK! HIGHLY STAY AWAY from here. DR. WITTEN veterinarian/owner and HANNAH vet tech. Failed me and Spencer my 17yr Shih Tzu. He went in for a recheck June 2nd. He was walking, eating on his own and going to the bathroom with no assistance. Prior to his 1230pm appointment. He was a happy yes 17yr. Old Not in any pain. Dr. Witten called me went over his recheck. Explained his blood work. But wasn't concerned since he had been on prednisone for 2 weeks. Stated that it would go down. She was going to start weaning him off of the prednisone. Asked me how I felt about progress? I said I'm happy he's eating more food loving the wet food being added. And that my orginal concern of his back leg point out was back under him. He was walking and eating I was happy. She then said he had tacky gums. I HAD TO ASK FOR A SYRINGE TO GIVE HIM MORE WATER SHE SAID SURE. I THEN ASKED FOR SUBCUTANEOUS FLUIDS. SHE SATED YES THAT A GOOD IDEA GIVE US 20/25 MORE MINUTES BEFORE PICKING HIM UP. Upon pickup he was brought out having SEIZURE like ACTIVITY UNRESPONSIVE. Which very sadly they all thought this was normal. As he was doing this in his cage and urinated on himself. He has never been Incontinent ever. Shame on Hannah, Lacy, Melissa, Dr Witten and Michelle the office manager. They only thing Dr. Witten could tell me was she believed it to be neurological, When I asked when did he start this seizure like activity she had no idea and wouldn't let me talk to the vet techs whos care in he was in. Hannah which is who came in the room later to had me seizure meds and very rude which I addressed the next to them the next. All along not knowing she was his vet tech until 3 days later when I called to Express my concerns with their care and frustration with their nonchalant demeanor for me and Soencer. So my question how can a caring professional veterinarian admit 3 days later she noticed him doing the seizure like ACTIVITY and she thought it was STRESS 2. He was dehydrated. No phone to me about any of this or to offer him IV therapy while he was there. I called several times asking for a refund and compassion. I have not received any sympathy or phone call regarding him. Oh, that DR Witten was going on vacation. Funny she saw the review and fpund time to relate. It took my orginal review for her to REBUTTAL She was rude in response and very insensitive. Stressing 17yr dog (name is Spencer thank you ) blind and deaf and thin and a SEVER SPINAL INJURY WHICH SHE NEVER METION UNTIL HER REBUTTAL in my orginal review. Bottom line...she owe me closure its devastating enough to have make life ending decisions. But this, this unacceptable. I known of other veterinarians who in this similar situation did not charge their client one was over 400. Due to having compassion. Which did nothing wrong they just had a heart. That's all it take dr Witten.

I tell everyone I know who has a pet about Back on Track. So much so, I should probably stop so I can make sure I can get an appointment when I need it (kidding). Back on Track is amazing, from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave, they do everything to make you and your pet feel comfortable. I recently left my other vet after 16 years and I'll never look back. Prices are fair, team members are incredible, and they really do care about your pet.
