Description "Each VCA hospital has health and safety protocols in place based on health care best practices as well as state and local guidance and regulations."
OMG THESE FOLKS ARE AMAZING!!!! The nicest receptionist, tech-vet and dr...ever!!! I expected that I'd need to sell a kidney to have my baby seen and it was VERY reasonable!! The dr allowed her to "hide " on the shelves😅😅 Thanks y'all for taking care of my baby!!!!
I love VCA!! They are so kind and my dog Archie loves them. Their service is exceptional and I don’t trust any other vet hospital with the care of my puppy. I highly recommend them to anyone!!
Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to this location. The attitudes of the front desk staff were very unwelcoming. They were not communicative of the wait time that was over 20+ minutes, they did not welcome us in, didn’t give a goodbye, even though I did (not that it truly matters) but for those reasons, I wouldn’t make the drive to take my dogs to be seen here again. Not to mention, the same day before the appointment, one of the schedulers Lillie, had changed one of the appointments because we had two dogs coming in, with different doctors at the same time with obviously an adult present for each dog. For whatever reason Lillie thought it was a good idea to push one of the appointment times, 45 minutes early without consulting if that was okay, I only found out because I received a text notifying me of the last minute change, I’ve never had that experience before, it’s unprofessional and inconsiderate. I had to take time from work to sort that issue and call the office. Aside from those issues, the visit with the doctors (Taylor and Rossetti) and the techs went well, they were helpful in answering questions and they were personable. If it wasn’t for the front desk employees, I would honestly make the drive to come back. I trust in the doctors’ expertise, they seem like they truly have a passion to work with animals and their pet parents. I just wanted to share my experience, in hopes that something changes. It doesn’t require much to be a little friendly especially if your job is to represent the clinic and be the first people to interact with clients.
The Doctor's and Staff at VCA Piedmont are amazing. They are not only very knowledgeable about caring for my animal family, they truly care about each and every one of them. They are empathetic and you know you are getting the best care possible. I appreciate the fact that they listen to you and address all your concerns and questions. I have been a customer for several years and happily recommend them 100%.
I was referred to this vet after I adopted my dog. It was no fault to the facility who referred me since it is a good program to have to refer for new pet owners, but from the perspective of VCA animal hospital it is a marketing approach to attract clients to earn more revenue. They do not actually care about the animals. The greeting alone every time you call “where we treat your pets like family” is just them trying to convince you and themselves that your pet is their #1 priority. From when I called to book the appointment until when I call to cancel every call was answered with a derogatory tone and short. When I called to ask if I was able to come inside for my appointment (my dog was on a quarantine from the shelter) I called 6 minutes after my appointment to just ask on an update and was responded to with an attitude about how my appointment time didn’t matter I would be seen when I was seen, the vet tech didn’t interact with my dog more than to listen to heart beat, gave up on getting her temperature and spent her time going over packages for monthly memberships to their office. They told me her symptoms were normal from coming from a shelter and just wrote off my multiple concerns and questions. They told me she would need multiple shots over again and then scheduled an appointment for me without confirming if I was able to make that time frame or not. Long story short my dog was continuing to get worse after her visit so I took her to another vet and she has a sinus infection and allergies, if she would have been given extra shots that VCA had recommended it could have made her more sick especially since she was not being treated for the infection she already had. I did not appreciate the lack of care for the patient in this case my dog and do not recommend their services to long time pet owners who have been used to more attentive care from prior vets offices especially if you’re new to the area. My new vets office was more affordable and treated my dog “like family”. VCA is not currently capable of that.
After a lackluster first experience with a temporary vet we were given the opportunity to revisit and the difference was night and day. Their vet Carlos was absolutely outstanding. Was patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. The vet tech (whose name I didn't catch) was equally as nice and understanding of our financial situation. We would 100% come back and recommend them!!
