Alameda,CA Sandy Rosete is a great doctor. Our dogs and we love to see her!! She provide our dogs& cat good treatment with empathy! Thanks to her and staff, they are very patience with pets and pet parents!! I didn’t see this in any other highly charge vet offices.
Pretty neat experience. It's like an Urgent Care for pets. Not your main provider, nor the emergency vet. This wellness center is like a clinic that accepts walk-ins and is reasonably priced. I'm glad I did some research and found a place like this. I just moved here from Southern California and have yet to choose our veterinarian.
I needed a health certificate for my dog for a travel but I couldn’t find any Wellness Center in our area.(We have many Pet Food Express stores with VIP Petcare services but the one with wellness center seems to be closed recently.) I decided to drive all the way to Alameda instead of looking for a vet nearby cause I just feel too comfortable with VIP Petcare services. I have used their services for 7 years and they never disappointed me. This store was the only Wellness Center that opened that day because of the President’s day schedule, and there was a long line. I know some people don’t like the wait but this is not something customers or staffs can control. They are first-come-first-served clinics and it is sometimes convenient and gives you flexibility. Once you check in, they send you a link that you can check how many people are before you and how much wait it is. If the wait is long, you can go home and come back. Sandra, the vet, and her staffs were GREAT. They were so friendly and professional although they were the ones dealing with busy schedules. So happy with their service and highly recommend this clinic.
Sweet, kind people who are doing a great job! It’s worth the wait for vet services. You’ll want to arrive early to wait in line; anywhere from an hour to 20 minutes before they open is best! The wait area is outside, not indoors, but they allow you to leave the pet in your vehicle while you sign up if you prefer. It’s nice that they text you when your turn is up & you’re also able to view the waitlist! They were able to see 2 cats same day for vaccinations & exams. Both came out of the appt calm & not anxious. Really great people & service at this location!
This option over our main vet is always half the cost in comparison to anything our main vet does. The vet here is thorough and can take care of many issues without a pet having to wait weeks to get in. The downside is getting at the clinic at least 1 1/2 hours ahead of time to get a good space in line as there are no appointments. They are also open on Saturdays, which is great as our main vet isn’t opened on Saturdays.
Staff is always so loving and welcoming to my dog as is Dr. Rosete. Have taken him to her since he was 9 wks old, he loves it there. Dr. is very attentive and makes sure he gets what he needs and follows up when needed.
