This is such a wonderful organization. Penni, the adoption coordinator, was extremely responsive and helpful with setting up a visit. Unfortunately the cat I was going to visit ended up getting adopted by another family but the foster person, Merry, listened closely to what I was looking for and introduced me to a number of different cats in her care. The cat that Penni suggested ended up choosing me and that settled the matter! That was two years ago and it's easily one of the best things I've ever done. Note: Cats are cared for by fosters which means they tend to be better socialized and receive much more individual attention. This also means there is not a single shelter location, hence the lack of address! The adoption process begins on their website with an application. If you pass the initial screening, the coordinator will set up an appointment and give you the address to meet the cat at the foster home. Please do not let the negative reviews about the address deter you. This is an established organization with 30 years of experience and their process prioritizes the wellbeing of their cats!

While I like what they do, they are not vetting rescues very well. I'm a responsible pet owner with very cat-friendly dogs (I have a 5yo cat in the house now) and yet they denied me a kitten without even seeing my home situation. Just a blanket denial. My animals are all rescues and are licensed, chipped, vaccinated and even have insurance. Shame on them.

Great organization. All the adoptee s are fostered . They are well adjusted and care for. They make an easy transition to their forever home. Great selection. Health cats. Volunteers that care about kitties and rescuing

Felicia comes from a place of judgement without even knowing or meeting a person. Never met the lady but was told no to giving a forever home to a cat because of someone else's opinion that once again never met me. They wanted to abort a cat's kittens from a colony I fed for the "greater good". Who am I to play God? What's done is done. With all the love I have to give didn't appreciate her snap judgment about who I was.

Such an amazing cat rescue! I adopted two kittens earlier this year and I have nothing but good things to say! The kitties are fostered in homes not kept in a shelter so they are well adjusted and loved from the get go. The foster mom checked in with me all the time after she brought my fur babies to their new home. The adoption coordinator is fantastic. It’s such a good cause! I highly recommend working with them to rescue your next kitty!

ICRA and their volunteers helped me do TNR with my 4 ferals about 4 years ago. What a big help! 3 of the girls still live in my backyard :)
