Description "Emergency Animal Hospital and Routine Vet. Please call at 7347286000 or go online to schedule an appointment"
This vet is wonderful. Entire staff is so kind. They may be a smaller practice, but they have gone above and beyond to accommodate me and my schedule. They have taken care of my kitty and my Frenchie. I will continue to support them as they have helped take care of my babies. They make the process much smoother and have fair fees/pricing. Highly recommend!!!
On Sunday, March 17th at 2:30pm, I had called this vet because I just found my fur baby dead. I didn't know what to do and needed advice. I asked if there is anyway I should confirm that she indeed has passed because honestly, I was in shock and she was just too young. The lady on the phone laughed at me and said "If you think shes dead, then shes dead." I couldn't even believe it! I was speechless and she made me feel stupid for asking a very legit question. She was extremely rude and had ZERO empathy! Please don't take your pets here! I wouldn't take my pet that had passed here to be cremated, let alone one that is alive and is in need of care. On top of that, their prices were insane! They wanted $395 for a cremation (that I can only imagine would have ZERO dignity and respect). We went elsewhere and it was the best decision I made for my girl on her final stop and less then half the price! Please beware of this place and take your fur baby's somewhere else!
They don't receive appointment requests from their own website. We made an appointment online and they didn't have us on their schedule when we got there. We waited 1 hour before seeing the vet, he had not even left his house by the time we arrived. The paint job is horrible inside and they use paper charts. The staff didn't know what a "bark/shock collar" was. Seems very run down
They don't honor their online prices. It's not my fault the web isn't updated. The Dr. WOULD NOT HONOR ONLINE PRICE!!!! Be careful not to book online for appointments because your price may be more when you get there. I'll be looking for another DR. soon.
The only reason I went to this animal hospital was because the other vet quoted me $8,000 for a surgery to remove chicken bones from my dog’s stomach, this place quoted me $1,200 and could get me in the same day I called. I’ve had really terrible vet experiences, and I spent a lot of money with my dog trying to get him diagnosed for over 6 months with an issue (which was apparently chicken bones) but this was the worst experience yet. This vet shouldn’t be licensed or be allowed to have a practice as a vet at all. After my dog’s surgery (and I mean literally right after) they called me to come pick my dog up. When I got to the hospital my dog was still covered in blood, laying on the floor on a doggy pee pad, completely unconscious. When I asked why they weren’t waiting for him to wake up from anesthesia for me to take him they said “we can’t keep him, we’re closing soon.” The place didn’t close for another hour, but I picked up my dog and put him in my car and left (nobody helped me transport him). My dog was not hooked up to anything when I got there, nothing to keep him breathing, no IV, nothing. This vet cut open my dog and sent me home with no pain meds for him, when asked they refused and said that he wouldn’t need them. My dog woke up on the car ride back to my apartment, and in less than 30 minutes after being home my dog started to scream and cry in pain, then started shivering and shaking uncontrollably, until he’d become unconscious again, proceed to wake up, and scream again. I called the vet who gave him the surgery because like I said, they didn’t actually close for another hour. On the other side of the phone you can very clearly hear my dog screaming in pain, and then it suddenly stop just to start again, when I explained what was happening they simply told me “he’ll be fine, if he has problems tomorrow call us”. I ended up calling my aunt who was a vet tech and after covering him with blankets, putting him on a heating pad, and stuffing two hair dryers under the blankets with him, my dog was still screaming and uncontrollably shivering and shaking. My aunt told me to take his temperature and when I read it back to her she told me that she wasn’t sure how my dog was even still alive because of how low his temperature was. While all of this was happening I was on another phone trying to get literally any emergency animal vet I could find but it was during covid and no one was accepting new patients, even if your pet was on the verge of death. I drove my dog over 45 minutes away to an animal hospital that said they would take him, driving almost 100 down the highway with my heat blasting, him wrapped in about five blankets in the middle of summer, and he still was going unconscious. The emergency vet we took him to told us the vet had absolutely butchered my dog’s surgery and made way too big of an incision, it was dangerous not to clean him up afterwards, and if they would have kept my dog for at least about five hours after he’d had his surgery that none of it would’ve happened because they could’ve helped him. He ended up getting pain meds, a warm IV put in, a heating pad, and got immediately triaged the second we got to the new vet because when we arrived he had gone unconscious again. The picture taken was weeks after my dogs surgery, you can tell by his hair having grown back in, he’d been cleaned by then but it’s to show how big of an incision they made. This vet almost killed my dog, and when I emailed them they had nothing to say back, no apology, nothing, because they don’t care. This vet doesn’t love animals, if he did he wouldn’t be doing what he is. This vet is completely unqualified to be doing what they’re doing and if my aunt hadn’t been a vet tech and that one far out emergency vet hadn’t been accepting anyone who needed help, my dog would’ve died that night. When the vet who did his surgery called me back the next day to checkup I told him what had happened and he told me “you should have waited, he would’ve been fine.” to my dog literally having almost died.
Today was a very unexpected and horrible day but this vet eased some of that pain by being there for me when my primary vet wouldn't fit me in for an emergency. ( That's a whole other story). I called so many places and they were not able to help. I call this place and all the Dr said was come on in. We came in pretty fast. Our 14 yr old dog was having a heart attack. ( Which is what this vet determined. ) We ran him in and they were right on it. Meds oxygen everything. He dropped what he was doing to try and save our sweet boy. Unfortunately it was to late and we had to say goodbye. I just want to thank this office and everyone in it for what they did for us today. You did everything in your power to help us and even though we didn't get the results we all wanted it was made better by knowing there are vets like you out there that will do whatever it takes to help. Thank you again for doing everything for us. We will never forget it.
