While I believe all creatures deserve taking care of I do question why I am repeatedly inundated with mail from Washington, D.C. I support my local shelters, donate at my local pet stores and have 2 rescued cats from ARF. Both were badly treated and rescued by ARF. They are only 5, so they will be with us for some time.

If all of you caring animal lovers really want your donations to get I into a place where you will be doing something awesome, nonate to your local shelters like SPCA (not the ASPCA!) You really need to do quite a bit of research but you will be so proud that you did and saddened beyond words. Good luck and be relentless!!!
