We brought on emergency our cat Kenai in for what appeared to be an eye injury. The staff and Dr. Larson were able to help Kenai. Kenai's diagnosis was conjunctivitis and not an eye injury. We appreciate and highly recommend this Banfield Pet Hospital location !!!!

I have been going to banfield for 11 years. I am from mass and in mass I moved a few times and had to switch to a new banfield and all were amazing . I came to this one when I moved down here and I have had the WORST experience ever with them. Not only can you not get through to anyone on the phone because they are always so “busy” … BUT on top of it I have a chewy order for my dogs insulin because he is diabetic . It’s supposed to be approve every few weeks through my auto ship. And more times than not I have had to physically call them to get them to approve it for me because they ignore any online orders. Mind you it’s INSULIN. Very important . I have almost run out countless times because I do not notice my auto ship was not approved (never had this issue with my other banfield). I called this last time to find out what was going on and was told that my dog needs to come in for a curve to be done and that’s why they did not approve my dogs very important medicine . No call to let me know this . No nothing to notify me of any issues with the account . I NEVER had this issue with any banfield back in mass . And when I originally brought my dog to be seen when I first moved here , the vet barely had any knowledge about his diabetes the way my old vet did. Using a freestyle libre which reads his glucose was not something the vet had done before. Seems they need some more education or they are just bad at their jobs . This location might possibly be the WORST banfield I have ever been to . Coming from a banfield patient of 11 years. I suggest finding a new vet or switching locations because these people are useless in so many ways. Even when going into the vet the first time I had to sit there for almost 3 hours waiting for the doctor . Never in my life at the vet has it taken this long. I do not trust them and they clearly are understaffed for what they are taking on. Good luck to your pet if you go here. I would steer clear who knows what they could possibly do to your pet with this kind of negligence . Thankfully I found a new banfield and they were horrified to hear how they handled the insulin orders. You people are unreal .

Horrible experiences at Banfield for the past two years I have given them chances, and this one has pushed me over the edge. First, you cannot go into the room with your dog, red flag. For years they wouldn't cut my dog's nails without trazodone. A vet should know how to deal with a dog, no? Anyway, I finally caved and gave mine trazodone this time. They did the exam and his nails this time. But he pooped during the procedure. They complained about this and did not clean him up, telling us we needed to give him a bath. This is unprofessional. We will never go here again and I would not recommend taking your beloved furbaby here. They do not care about dogs.

AVOID at ALL Cost!!!!! Probably the worst experience ever. I have a prescription for my cats food and I've used it all over the country. This is the only place where I've been denied buying my cat his prescription food. I have a Banfield prescription card yet this location will rudely tell you that they don't care about prescriptions and you have to pay to see their vet and get a new prescription if you want to buy food at their location. Also they don't know when they can get you in and you have to bring your pet for a food prescription even if you have a valid one. For one...I have a valid prescription so they are obviously money hungry. Two, I have a spicy cat who hates the vet and needs to be drugged...drugging a cat with asthma and lugging him around for no reason is not my favorite thing to do. Three... These people have no idea what customer service is and are terrible employees for the company The ridiculously rude staff then told me to drive to Savannah if I didn't want to abide by their rules. They said it was my only option. Luckily it was not true and a vet right down the street had the same food. I was in and out in 5 mins at the local vets office.

Did not care for the service. Would NOT recommend. I brought our cat in for care after noticing obvious signs of sickness. I clearly explained my inability to pay a large sum beyond my budget. When the "doctor" called me back to explain the variety of "tests" needed to determine a diagnosis. I was very vocal and direct about not approving any tests beyond what was agreed and within my budget. After a while the "doctor" called me back to inform me that she intentionally opted for the testing she deemed appropriate, after I clearly explained I did NOT want the testing done. Her justification to this was that the price in testing was similar. They did not help me in any way they were rude and even laughed in my face when I arrived to collect my cat. making it seem like I was not at all clear with them. Furthermore exclaiming that she was a "doctor" and she knew better than me in every aspect of the situation. Needless to say I had to shell out several hundred dollars for the return of our cat with absolutely zero treatment. That would cost even more.... Disgraceful
