I've gone here for years. It's always been a family owned business. They have always taken excellent care of my pets, whether they are there for grooming or boarding. Very clean, caring, and professional.

We boarded our 2 older cats 7 and 9 years for the very 1st time at the center for 12 days. I was nervous about their ability to adapt. The older cat has a lit of stress issues in general and did amazing we didn't have any medical issues at all with her during or on her return how. They were both happy to be home but had zero effects from their first time away from home. I would definitely use again and recommend.

Hooray! We've welcomed a new little one to the family! Unfortunately, hospitals tend to have a "No pets" rule so I had to find a safe place for a current family member while we were welcoming the new one. I worry about our Australian shepherd because she can be a bit rambunctious and downright needy. After shopping around for a while, I found the Dupont Animal Care Center. I worried, of course, because we have never left Pumpkin (our aussie) anywhere before, but I called and spoke with Dorothy, she gave me updates about the rascal and let me know she was doing fine. Pumpkin was of course excited to see me but she was healthy and happy. When I brought her home she settled right back into her usual routine, like nothing had ever happened. I can't thank the care center enough. If it ever becomes necessary for her to stay overnight I'll be sure to drop her off with her friends at Dupont again.

Very disappointed with my dogs last stay here. I sent my own pee pads in and every pad I sent came back to me after I asked them to please use them, as a result I was given his bed back completely soaked in pee, along with his blanket and my dog. He was very lethargic when I put him in the car. I called back there 2 times to see how was his stay and the details got more interesting each time. My dog had skin off his nose and I have no idea what happen. He wasn't acting like his self and came back home looking bad and smelling bad. Something definitely was wrong and he died a few days later. I am so upset with this place. I believe he wasn't cared for properly. Never again!

We were on the second day of vacation. We got a call that Shadow was having issues and probably should go to his doctor. We called the vet and worked it out that they could and would take him. Otherwise one of us was planning to fly back. He had a neurological episode. Nothing could be done for him. He came back out of it and was doing good the rest of the week. We picked Shadow up and unfortunately he had more episodes and passed. Just thankful that they went the extra mile for Shadow.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and my dog was in good spirits when I picked her up. I will use them again when I have a need and feel comfortable leaving her there
