After having the same Vet for over 20 years, it was scary to move into a new community. We were concerned with the quality of care available for our fur baby when we moved 2 yrs. ago Honey Island Animal Hospital has been the perfect place to bring our pet. We have found Dr. Brennan to be thorough and knowledgeable with a great bedside manner. He has taken care of our geriatric dachshund mix a few times since we moved here for issues related to her age. In each instance she has been back to her energetic self by the end of treatment. So, if you're looking for a Vet, I would definitely recommend Honey Island Animal Hospital.

Like another reviewer here, we moved from out of the state after using the same vet for 20 years. It was a relief to find such good care on short notice for one of our kitties. We were highly impressed with the care he provided and the caution he showed when handling our girl. We will absolutely be returning with all of our animals for their annual visits & whatever life throws our way.

Dr Brennan is amazing!!! Staff is so kind and patient! We had our 18 yr old beautiful, sweet and sassy cat put down due to some severe health issues. He went above and beyond to explain everything in detail-multiple times over many phone calls. He is the best and truly truly truly loves animals-you can tell he does it for all the right reasons. Take your pet here-you won’t be disappointed. All my pets are switched to Dr Brennan now! It’s a no brained in my book! Thank you so much to Dr Brennan and staff-y’all made the very tough decision I faced a lot more manageable and reassuring.👍👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been to sooooo many veterinarians over the last 20ish years in the greater New Orleans area. This place is by far the best. While some of my pets are in slidell, I still live in NOLA and will make the drive to take all of my pets to Dr Brennan and his fantastic staff.

Dr. Brennan and his staff are all so nice and caring. Unfortunately this visit was with my daughter as she had to put her beloved Simba to sleep. Although it was rough, the Dr and staff were kind, considerate and let my daughter take her time.
