I got my two cats Nikki and Tommy at this shelter. I had the chance a few years back to volunteer there and the place is very nice and clean. This place puts the cats as their number 1 priority and they get the best treatment while in transition to be adopted. They also have a box on the side of their building where they accept donations, if you are curious on what they are looking for donation wise they have the list on the Orphan Animal Rescue website. P.S. yes they were named after Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee.

We found our beautiful fur baby here. We highly support animal rescues, and are so happy to have this particular group of people fighting for animal rights and helping kittens in the Fox cities The interior of the rescue area is very clean and well taken care of. The staff is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We filled out paperwork starting the adoption process. Please be patient with this. They want to make sure that each cat goes to a wonderful and loving home. We are thrilled to support this local business because they truly help cats Thank you all for working hard and getting these cats cleaned up spayed and neutered and a good home. Ahhh … simply sensational. If everyone out there are looking for a kitty would avoid buying one from a breeder …and instead … go to an animal rescue and help a furry friend looking for love… animal shelters would be empty. Just sayin! Namaste!

I'm so happy we adopted from OARS! Seeing organizations like theirs work so hard to not only save animals from euthanization but also to ensure they each find loving homes gives me hope for the world. Even post-adoption, when our boys were having trouble with anxiety and stress fighting, the OARS staff were so generous with tips & pointing us toward helpful resources. They truly care about each animal that comes through their doors, and the adoptive families that bring them home. 10 stars!

I have never seen cats treated so well. All the cats here are so nice. Some are scared but no mean cats. Best place to adopt from. Every cat seems to have a little different personality.
