Amazing place! Clean, Modern and low anxiety for the animals and parents. Dr Johnson as so knowledgeable and gentle with my little pup. Made the process easy. Thank you NVC!! Picture of the patient happy to be in the neighborhood and home
This location is awesome and deserves every 5-star rating they’ve received. Everyone greeted us with smiles and made us feel welcomed. Dr. Pope was amazing with Tofu our cat. He’s very young and nervous around new people. She was super gentle with him and answered all of our questions. Would recommend the clinic to anyone in the area.
I visited this clinic because of its high review score, but I regret it deeply. I brought in a 4-5 week old rescue kitten with a wound on its back under the tail. The doctor told me it was just a prolapsed intestine, which happens often and was not a big deal, assuring me it would return to normal soon. She only spent a brief moment with us before leaving me with her nurse, who said the kitten was in good shape, quite healthy, and had no parasites. They gave me a few syringes with dewormer and antibiotics for the wound to administer at home, without bothering to do anything themselves. The next day, my kitten looked worse, so I took him to SpringGreen Vet Clinic. There, they found that the poor kitten did not have a prolapsed intestine but a nasty abscess full of maggots that required surgery. We removed 47 maggots from that wound. On top of that, he also had ear mites, fleas, ticks, and a respiratory infection—the first clinic’s definition of "healthy." He was in critical condition, and we wasted a full day. By the time he received competent help, it was too late. He died today due to the complete ignorance and incompetence of the staff at this clinic. Stay away from them if you care about your pets!
This place is absolutely amazing. They were super professional and sweet with my puppy. I loved that they kept me in the loop as they ran the tests. I will definitely be coming back. My pup is already doing so much better.
My 9 year old fur baby, Sugar is a regular at NVC Richmond. Every time we come for a visit, she is greeted with rubs and attention. The office and exam rooms are always clean. Dr. Johnson and the entire staff are very professional, knowledgeable, understanding and will help put your mind at ease. Dr. Johnson always gives us great advice and will only recommend what’s needed for your fur baby. I highly recommend all of your veterinary services at this location!
My cat had been not acting himself and when I had taken him to be seen by his original vet they could not take him in due to them not having a vet for the week. So I called NVC to see if they could take in my cat and 5 minutes later he was already being seen. The staff were great and very informative regarding my cat. Additionally, despite the tests and medication my cat needed it didn’t drain my pockets. Will be switching all of my animals to this vet!
