Whenever you’re finding a new vet for your pet it’s really hard to find one you feel you can trust. At embrace automatically I felt that they cared about my dog and myself. The staff are always so nice and supportive. Both Dr.Douglass are AMAZING! They will do everything to help your pet! I love Darcy she is the best! They get to know you and your pet so well that my dog loves going to see them. He actually gets excited to go to vet

I came in because I found a lost doggy & I wanted to see if it was chipped. Luckily I found this vet in Google opened at 8am other places would open later, I called to see what the process was I don’t remember the lady name but was very sweet & informative & I informed her that I was heading over there when I got their they already knew who I was & checked the doggy sadly it didn’t have a chip the lobby was gorgeous! Definitely recommend this vet I live a bit far out so I wouldn’t be able to go to it but it had great service!

Love Dr. Laurel! I drive from Spring Branch to see her here because I can feel that she really cares about me and my dogs. She helped us figure out a mystery illness my dog had for 9 months. She takes the time to discuss everything with me and figure out a plan. Plus, the clinic is comfortable. I never have to wait in a busy waiting room with lots of other dogs, which is always stressful since one of my dogs wants to play and the other is reactive. Costs have been comparable to other vet clinics I've used so the drive is well worth it!

Dr. Laurel Douglass and Sadie have been so wonderful to my puppy and me! Dr. Douglass is experienced and very knowledgeable with canine pathology and the stages of each disorder. Dr. Douglass has been educating me on my puppy’s disorder and how to manage her at home. Her medical technician, Sadie, is also well trained in treatment procedures. Sadie was so gentle with my puppy when removing the IV Catheter. Overall, I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic to my family and friends.

Where do i even begin ? First off, let me start by saying my biggest regret was not finding them sooner !!! The first day i took one of my dogs i was very hesitant because we had seen 2 other vets and i was scared to repeat the cycle of the vets not caring for my fur babies. Making the appointment was quick and easy (phone call, and was able to come in same day), the facility is very clean and welcoming, and Dr Fraulein Douglass was so knowledgeable and so accurate with my dog’s diagnosis. Fast forward to many visits later - to make this long story short. i have two poms. Aria is 6 years old and Cleo is 15 years. To my surprise, when i first took Cleo, Dr. Fraulien Douglass just loaded me so much bad news regarding Cleo’s health. I was in complete shock as to why none of her previous vets have ever told me anything, and very grateful for Dr. Douglass for really caring for Cleo since she was so sick, due to her old age. And of course for caring for Aria. Ever since my first visit, i knew i had found my forever vet clinic! Oct 2022 - Aria broke both her legs and due to surgery being so costly and the risks associated i didn’t want to put Aria through that route. Dr Douglass has been working with me and Aria and after months of following Drs orders and with her meds Aria has slowly been able to walk!! A little bit each day but lots of progress (Feb 1 2023 todays date) Jan 31st 2023 - the love of my life Cleo passed away. I knew this day was coming due to many hard conversations with Dr. Douglass but of course nothing could’ve prepared me for that day. Dr. Douglass, and her staff were there for us every step of her journey, especially during this tough day !! Dr. Fraulien Douglass was off this day and she came in just for Cleo!!!! She knew in her heart today was going to be the day, just as i knew. She LOVED and CARED for Cleo. She even came in her normal casual clothes, just to be here with us to put Cleo to sleep forever…. I am in Sugar Land, TX and do not mind driving to Richmond for my pets care. They are very responsive through phone, and email. Dr. Fraulien Douglass has called me plenty of times even on her days off! Aria will continue to see care at Embrace for as long as she lives! I recommend Embrace to anyone with a fur baby. They genuinely love and care for your babies and you as well!! Darcy is the receptionist she is absolutely amazing!! Cynthia the vet tech is so sweet and caring and both Dr Laurel and Fraulien Douglass are knowledgeable, patient, caring, hands down the best vets in the whole universe!! Please enjoy the few pics of my fur babies. (Aria is the bigger dog light cream tan color, Cleo is the smaller dog, white cream color) RIP Cleo - Forever and always in our hearts. 01/25/2008-01/31/2023
