I love my new kitten, Mylo! Today was a good day to get neutered. The staff was so nice and accommodating. He's been to the groomer and he was so good. The only thing his vet told me was that he was older than what the shelter initially told me. Other than that he was very healthy and up to date on his shots. He is just a cute kitten. Whoever dropped him off at the shelter Thank You for loving him enough to give him life with an adoption. Jackson County Animal Shelter Spring Arbor excellent Customer service!!

Bought the kittens about 4-5 weeks ago. They were too young to be spayed and took them back today at no additional charge. He loves his new kitten and so do I.

Friendly staff; that’s the only star I’ll give regarding the staff. Be very mindful when adopting a dog from here. We adopted a female puppy the first day they came available, brought her back to be fixed as it was included in the adoption fee. When we picked her up, there was no cone, her incision opened up within two days because it got INFECTED, wasn’t covered; and was GLUED shut, no stitches whatsoever, no sedation pills provided. When we called regarding her health, it took forever for them to get back with us. We ended up taking her to the Lansing Animal Emergency hospital, spent hours in the waiting room, where they confirmed the infection was from UNCLEAN medical tools that were used. THANKFULLY, she was going to be okay. Cost us $600 in medical bills when we should've just taken her to an actual vet for the procedure. You think you're getting a good deal when it's included in the adoption fee..but truthfully you are not. Our puppy was then stuck with a cone for two weeks, four different pain/sedation pills, was unable to play/get excited for the two weeks, and had to have her bandage changed twice a day. As a dog owner, our hearts ached for her.

I have adopted all 3 of my pets from here. My fur babies are the best! I always get complements on how awesome they are. Jackson county animal shelter staff is always available and very friendly and helpful! They make you feel welcome and want you to have a great experience.

Over the summer 2021, I had gone to the Tiny Lions Den several times, Humane Society x2. I was looking for a tabby kitten. Browsing online at the Jackson shelter I saw Easton, 3mo 18 days old. On Sept 17th 2021, I drove the 45 min to get there. I saw Easton, soooo cute but was meowing alot, yet very social.. The volunteer there was great! Wish I got his name. I saw multiple young kittens and probably spent a good 1.5 hrs there. I was torn, but the vol said, Easton was an awesome kitten, he'd probably not be as vocal once in a loving home. So I adopted him, the process was easy and smooth and I left w/ Easton. Vol was right.Easton not overly vocal. I changed Easton's name to Avery. Avery has been a blessing! Much personality, smart and such a loving lap cat. My fam and friends have met him and all love him saying you "got an awesome, cool cat". Having said all this, I do recommend adopting frm the Jackson Animal Shelter. BTW fees are much lower there then in the A2 areas. The facility was clean, and staff I met seem to genuinely care about the animals.

Tucker is such a blast to have around. When we checked out the furbuddies for one to adopt. Tucker kinda picked us out. The staff was very accommodating with letting us get familiar before making a final decision. Tucker loves to learn tricks and please us. He even figured out how to get on my shop bench a guard my toolboxes. Loves to help me in the shop. They told us he is a Siberian Husky mix. Possibly part cat?
