Brought in a wild bird we rescued. We originally took it to a wildlife refuge in Huntington Beach, but they said it needed to be put down cause it had a broken foot. Serrano identified the bird and helped us get the special diet she needed and taught us how to care for it. She is thriving and tame with the food and care we learned from the Serrano doctors. Caution tho. They are serious about what is the best for the bird and will tell you bluntly and straight up what you are getting into. We did need to convince the vet we were seriously all in and fully committed to caring for the wild bird. Only then did they jump in and do everything to help us.

Our sweet bunny passed away and Serrano has taken care of us every step of the way. Even though our bunny had only been there once for a nail trim, they have treated us like family. We took her body in and they were so kind and patient while we made our decision for her cremation. They offered a paw print ornament too for our children. It has made a difficult process bearable and we have felt so well treated.

I recommend Serrano Animal and Bird Hospital over any vet I’ve ever been to. I’ve been a dog owner my whole life, finding a vet was always as easy as finding a grocery store (meaning there are so many in a square mile or so) When we had an emergency situation with our hamster “Noodle”, it wasn’t so easy finding a vet to care enough to even just come out from behind their doors and just visually look or offer some sort of recommendation. After rushing her around and being told “sorry” so many times, I finally found Serrano Animal and Bird Hospital. Dr. Beaudet took Noodle right away, assessed the situation and saved her life. I’m so grateful that they were so caring and compassionate.

I was super concerned about bringing a crested gecko into a vet office since they are very unpredictable and jumpy. Everyone was very patient, kind, and careful with him, which was a huge relief. I'm glad everything went smoothly.Thank you!

The staff at Serrano are all very special people. I’ve been here 2 times for my Guinea pig dottie. The staff are so friendly, helpful, and are genuinely good people. My previous visit was with Dr. Beaudet. She was so gentle with Dottie, and had oodles of helpful information. Such a wonderful Dr. God bless you all at Serrano. :)

I was sincerely surprised on how amazing the vet and staff were.... My son and I had a pet bunny and we took him in because he wasn't really eating or drinking. Turned out he was really sick and had some genetic abnormalities... Though he was only 2, and the road to recovery was very low, we decided to put him down... I'm not an animal person, mainly dogs or cats, but I think this hit me hard, more than my son surprisingly... I didn't think I was that attached. The doctor helped with our budget and even stayed a little after hours... And even sent a hand written card from the doctor. I probably will never have to go back to this place, as I vowed never to get another animal because this was just too tough. So just thank you. Everything was amazing. If I were to give 1 feedback note throw a air purifier in the lobby, I couldn't even sit in there my allergies were bad, so that would potentially help others/kids who might not be allergic to their animal but possibly with others/types.
