Description Our Mission: The Pet Adoption Center of Orange County connects adoptable pets with loving people and the resources they need to be a family for life. Our Vision: A community that cares so deeply for the welfare of its pets that it finds shelter euthanasia not only unnecessary, but unimaginable. PAC-OC rescues dogs from shelters and other untenable situations (we cannot accept strays), and provides for their needs while waiting for adoption at our stress-free adoption center—keeping them happy, healthy, and adoptable. We help ensure successful placements by matching pets with highly compatible families. PAC-OC provides counseling services to potential adopters, and volunteer and educational opportunities to the community.

We adopted the most adorable puppy from this place and the process was so quick and easy. April is just a gem to work with and she loves all these little pups like they are her own. We've had our new puppy for about a week and he is just perfect. Thank you so much for making our experience so wonderful 😍🤗😁

I called this place around 5:30 asking a question about a dog I found and I asked the lady on the phone if they do drop offs or if she knew any shelters open around this time and she started to be really rude telling me why I am looking for one at this time and starting giving attitude saying why can’t I keep it until tomorrow and that I won’t find one open right now. She doesn’t know my personal life and why I can’t keep the dog and i want to make sure I find a place for the dog and instead of doing her job she starts giving me attitude and getting into my personal life. She needs to learn customer service! It was probably the girl April in all the bad reviews on here.

Great place to adopt a pet! They have some great choices for animals here.

Volunteers help keep Lake Forest pets out of the county shelter. Usually have some great looking dogs you can adopt. Sometimes cats and kittens. Want a new pet. Go here first.

I worked with April to adopt and it was a great experience. She knows all the dogs so well and ensures each one finds the right family. The facility feels like home and is ideal for the dogs and for having people come visit. They even had a trainer work with my dog while she lived there and that help ease my transition bringing her home. I am so grateful my Lily was rescued and can't imagine life without her now!

I adopted a two year old puppy mill mama and I’ve had her for over six months and she still having a hard time and I reached out to this company and the only response back was” Why would you get a dog when you work?” I don’t feel like shaming somebody is the right approach
