Just wanted to thank everyone there! A year ago my step father and I, adopted our amazing boy, Maverick! We got him from whatever bad situation he was in and provided him his forever home! We saved him but really, if I'm being honest, he's saved us. Our health is better! He makes our lives so much better! I never knew I was capable of loving any animal or person as much as I love this amazing puppy. Maverick is an old soul and he loves us without question. Yes, we spoil him but he deserves it and he spoils us too with his perfectly timed kisses and snuggles. He's just the perfect dog. He loves meeting new people and you just can't help but to fall in love with him. So again, thank you Trumbull county dog Warden for saving our beautiful baby boy! Sincerely, Harry and Dan

I have nothing but good things to say about the staff at the dog warden‘s place. Their dedication And hard work trying to find a suitable home for each one of their dogs is evident Their top priority is making sure that each dog in their care finds a suitable new home, where it will be loved, and cared for for the rest of its life We absolutely love the dog that we got from there, and I highly recommend that anyone who is looking for a new fur baby to come to the dog warden‘s place and find your new best friend They are simply great, and they do such hard work on very very little funding A+++++++++***

The facility was very clean, the dogs well cared for and most of all, we got to see all of them and walk the kennels, instead of picking from a photo like alot of places do. We found the perfect fit! Have had him 2 days and already ready to sign papers to make it permanent! The only reason I left out a star is there are wardens, volunteers and alot of people in and out of the small office area. That makes it hard to figure out the dogs. Someone would start telling you about dog, leave and another person would finish or we would have to ask our questions again to another person. They need one to answer the multitude of non-stop phone calls and another person to wait on potential adopters. But we will continue to recommend this place highly to potential adopters. The foster to adopt program is awesome! Thank you so much for our new baby ❤️

Very wonderful workers that help you the best they can.Help with finding the best puppies or dogs ect. Couldn't ask for a better place very friendly,loving,caring staff . My puppies were treated an taking care of well .thank you Trumbull County Dog Warden

An unprofessional amount of lacking communication that borders on dishonesty. I put in an application for a dog and immediately called to cement my interest. I was told he had a meet and greet, but they would call me if it didn't work out. I called at the end of the day for an update, and they said it didn't work out with that family and they would contact me to go over my application soon. I was ecstatic. Until they put another Facebook post up for him and 2 other people expressed that they were in the same boat I was in - applications and calling with no response. 9 days and 5 useless phone calls later, my only update was their Facebook post showing he had went home with another family. I was very disappointed. To be very clear, I was 100% understanding if it wasn't meant to be, but this was handled so poorly that I will never recommend anyone to adopt through them. They make posts about how full their kennels are, then don't even follow up with applicants. It's great that they're helping these dogs, but serious change is needed if they expect people to want to go through them.

Terrible service!!! Put in an application for a dog, set up appointment to meet with them and the dog. When we went there for our appointment they said that the dog was already adopted! We received no phone call that the dog we wanted was already adopted and while we were there they said “oh yea you were first on the list but it was an accident by staff that we over looked.” You think?! We were devastated.
