I absolutely loved this place ! The amount of love the workers have for these animals is just amazing to see ! I have never seen an animal shelter try so hard to give each and every animal a fighting chance . They have so much compassion and are so friendly ! Their faces light up in smiles as big as the animals the day they get to go to their forever home or simply to get fostered out until they get their forever home ! I’d refer everyone here to get your fur baby !! For all these people giving these bad reviews ! Don’t blame them because u got an animal and decide u can no longer care for it ! They can only hold so many animals ! For u people just dropping your dogs,cats, etc off because u can’t take care of the pet u took in isn’t their fault ! U call them heartless ! How heartless is it to take in an animal then decide you can no longer take care of it ! U do know that u can look for a home for said animal yourself ? You also should know what’s heartless is in order for them to make room for the animal u are discarding like trash ! They have to kill an animal that deserves a home just as much !! So think twice before u judge these people ! People should get their animals spayed and neutered!

I love this place! I fostered and adopted two dogs from here and I would recommend everyone to come here to find your forever fur baby❤️ everyone is so nice and welcoming even all the animals! Love to see all the babies get adopted out and loved in their new forever homes

If I could give them a -0 I definitely would . I had nowhere for my dog to go they saw me in the car waiting on them to open back up at 1230 they looked at me and shut the side door when it was time for them to open they kept the door lock and not answering the phone these people are completely racist they look at me and shut the door and even ask for help . Hateful people in this world

Saw this beautiful baby while I took 3 kittens 😸 we found there for help. One of the little girls eye was swollen and I didn't think I could fix it. They were so helpful.

If I could give zero I would, this is supposed to be a service provided by the county that covers THE WHOLE COUNTY yet you can barely get anyone on the phone and when you do get an answer they offer zero actual help and if you live in Oxford they won't help you at all. I called about a neighbor who had a dog chained up over a month ago. The animal had no fur left and it was unclear whether the animal had any food or water. What was clear was that the animal was chained up outside, and sick. I was bounced around and even had to call the police department to leave a message for animal control and never heard a peep despite being told I would receive a phone call and someone would be out to the house. I don't know what happened to the dog at this point because I never heard back from anyone. The lack of compassion for animals and the lack of resources it has resulted in is DISGUSTING and speaking as a resident of this area it needs to be addressed NOW.
