We called Vernon and asked if he would take 2 domestic rats that needed help. Without hesitation he said to bring them over. This was our first time meeting Vernon. He is legit and tells it like it is. Super cool guy. Clearly this man deeply cares about animals and their well being for that he's got my respect for sure. Thanks alot for what you do

They stole someone's turtle and held it for ransom, you can Google the news story. Pinellas man has turtle stolen from backyard and held for ransom by local wildlife group

Highly recommended! Found the sweetest baby raccoon that was missing an eye. We would have loved to take her in. Unfortunately, we do not have the time or space for her to grow up and be a real raccoon. We brought her to Wildlife Rescue & Rehab; amazing facility! The director, Vernon, runs a beautiful operation. He has a true passion and heart for animals and nature. Makes me happy to know she is in a great place that will take care of her. We should all be a bit more like Vernon.

Says they only deal with ''exotic'' but have pictures of raccoons and opossum and told me to call the SPCA for a baby opossum. strange.

Dropped off a Vashti Tiger with enlarged testicles that was swimming in my neighbors pool and Vernon just jumped right into Tarzan mode and tranquilized the big cat he now calls Kimble. Thx Vern!

Really confused on this place being a wildlife rescue but the don't take "native wildlife"? The claimed rescue person I spoke to was not helpful and very abrasive on the phone. Wouldn't waste your time with this one.
