My favorite place to shop for my fur baby's and I'm excited about plans to hopefully add a ferret to my family soon! Service is always wonderful and the store is always clean able yo navigate easily. I wanted to take more pictures but my phone died...
I made a grooming appointment one month in advance, they canceled the day of the appointment 15min before the appointment, after a 20 mile drive, because the dog was Excited, Happy & Playful, they told me the dog was anxious and had anxiety.
I'm not sure if there is enough space here to describe the poor experience I had. I placed an online order for same day pickup at 8:40AM because they were offering $20 off an $80 purchase. I ordered, got email verification, my bank showed payment processing. I went to pick the order up and they said they did not have an order for me at all. Nothing. Absolutely nothing on their end showing my order. I showed them the confirmation, the order, the email, the bank transaction. I said I ordered online for pick up so I could come in quickly and get out quickly as I was on my lunch hour. The clerk that was helping was brand new. She asked a coworker for assistance getting into the hand held device to check the order. The clerk that she asked for helped was inattentive and did very little to help. When the clerk could not find the order, she went to talk to the manager in the office. She was of no immediate help either. I said, I ordered and paid for the products, could I just get them off the shelf and be done. They said no even though I had verification of order and payment. She again went to talk to the manager. The manager still did not come out but told her to have ME call customer service. I told the clerk that I was not calling customer service and told her I wanted to talk to the manager myself. The manager did finally come up to speak with me. I told her this was not a "me" problem, it was a PetCo problem and SHE needed to find the resolve, not me. She finally called customer service who said they were having online order software issues. In the meantime another customer came in to pick up their online order. I asked how long ago she placed the order and she said less than 2 hours ago. Her order was there and ready for pickup. So was it really a software issue??? Could be...but... Customer service finally told her to cancel my original order (which they said they NEVER got so not sure how you can cancel something you never got, right??) They pulled the items in my order off the shelf, rang up the new items, had me pay AGAIN. They needed to add Petco bucks to cover the $20 difference from the online order. 45 minutes later, I was finally able to get out of there. I will NEVER order online again. They had an error and wanted ME to resolve it by calling customer service....NOPE! It took persistence on my part to finally get my products. Most people would have walked out the door and tried to get customer service to help them.
I went in to find the best dog collar for my dog for training and barking control and had a great experience with the sales Gal and took her time to find the right product and assisted with fitting the collar for me. Always great service in the Davenport Iowa location and the only store I will get all my pet needs. Thank you all for all your help and professionalism. My Dog Sassy
Picked out an amazing crested gecko. The associate was super kind and helpful. She was patient in showing us all the cresties to ensure we picked just the right one! It was actually really nice to talk to someone who was actually educated about the reptiles. I was also very impressed at the quality and variety of reptiles at this store and that they were very well cared for!
Very unprofessional staff the one cat that's for adoption is not taken cear of or acknowledged in anyway water looks old hot and full of something I was not greated when entering after checking out I was not offered a bag nor a receipt I had to ask for my receipt and get my own bag girl had her eyes completely cover with her blue yellow hair not a store I will frequent at all!!!! They had the best rate online order for frontline is the only reason I came to it im in the parking lot giving my review hands down worst pet store in davenport
