Description Green Acres Kennel Shop is a full service pet care business offering pet-friendly boarding, daycare, grooming, training classes, and behavioral consultations for cats and dogs. Additionally we offer a full range of wholesome pet food and quality pet supplies. The business was established in 1965 by Judy and Bob Mooney, who also bred Yorkshire Terriers. In 1982 the business was purchased by Chuck and Mary Jones, who ran the business until it was purchased by Don and Paula Hanson in October of 1995. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but we unfortunately did not have a good experience recently. A friend and I dropped off our two dogs over memorial day weekend. Both dogs have been boarded several times before without any issue, and my friends dog had been at Green Acres last year and had a great experience. When we dropped them off we were asked about feeding schedule, however, our dogs were not fed to our instruction and both came home with a days worth of food. Our dogs were also both sick for several days following boarding with very bad diarrhea. Lastly, when we picked up our dogs, there was a dog at the front desk that was barking at every dog that was brought out to be picked up, which seemed unprofessional, and worriesome as my friend's dog can sometimes be reactive with dogs he does not know, which we disclosed.

Just had Kami in for grooming and again she looks amazing! Love the groomer, she wants you to get the perfect cut for your pet and she never fails. Thank you all for great and friendly service everytime I go there.

I got to say listen to your dog and it's all about your dog's comfort. We have tried other places and she didn't really like them that much she actually walks into this place wagging her tail these people makes the atmosphere loving carrying. And makes the dog feel comfortable.

My dog comes home happy and content I like all staff members. The cost for boarding is reasonable. I used them a lot for my Lab Retriever. I do wish there was a special rate for more then 5 days. 🤑. Colton loves Green Acres and so does myself.
