I couldn't be more grateful for the attention to this place. They also treated my cat NOLA, who suffered an infection and went blind, very well and still took great care of her with love and care. I also had the saddest experience of putting my other cat Tiger to sleep due to a very complicated situation and the vet treated me very well and all the staff are friendly, and the place is very clean and welcoming. I recommend them because they are very nice people. Professional, friendly and full of love for animals. The Veterinarian named Jones is a sweetheart, I think she is the best... here at Bronx Community Veterinary Clinic 501 E 161 St, she know para que fue llamada y escogida para salvar vidas y ayudar a los menos afortunados los animales. For me she is the best doctor, she really has love and passion for what she does. I bless all these women and men who give everything for animals. In the Bible it tells us that everything you do for God's creation, the Animal Kingdom, is not in vain and you will be rewarded by God! 1 Corinthians 15:58.
Brought my precious boy Ouken here for vaccines. Everything went smoothly. I was serviced quickly and offered Flea and Tick control which I will always say yes to (-: no complaints. My advice is to show up ON TIME, they will reschedule you.
The staff here was so nice, and caring. The facility was very clean and calming. My cat was a rescue (brought here after being rescued) and we brought her back for a follow up from a surgery she got here. The day she was rescued they said “we think she’s feral” and when we brought this kind, loving cat they were so happy to see that she wasn’t in fact feral! They took their time with us and went over all our questions about her. Can’t give them praise enough!!
I brought my older cat here to be euthanized and I have to say Dr. Richard's and the entire group at 161 were wonderful. Dr. Richards was so compassionate, and so gentle with my Hoppy. She made this difficult process as easy as it can be. They even had a little chalk board with my cats name and flowers and a candle in the room as we put him to rest. There was no wait time at all and the entire experience was one I am thankful for.. I am profoundly grateful to have found such an amazing vet, with such dedicated people working there. I would absolutely recommend bringing your pets here, the care is second to none. And, make a donation. This is really a special place. Note: getting through on the phone was an issue, so I walked in yesterday and was given an appt for today. There was no wait time and they had prepared the room my Hoppy was going to be in especially for us. The extra care they put into making you feel comfortable is exceptional. They really are a godsend, and I am so happy to have found them. I will be bringing my other 2 cats here from now on. They are super affordable as well and work to keep pet care affordable for the community. If you live in the 10451 area code check them out. You won't regret it.
How can you put in to words what this place & staff means they are ALL BEYOND AMAZING... I call them angels from above the staff aging is amazing very understanding work with you I'm forever grateful to all of them 💐🫶...
This company is horrible. My neighbor was taking her kitten to be fixed one morning and she told me she manage to make an appointment in person because it’s almost impossible to call these ppl and make one over the phone for ANYTHING. And trying to wake up and jump in their website to be excepted for a appointment for the truck is a hassle as well my mother is elderly and I work in the morning so it’s impossible to be able to do those things just so my mother can take her cat to be fixed! She went there today to try to book an appointment and they turned her away giving her a calendar which is ODD considering my neighbor just went there a couple of weeks ago to get her kitten fixed. It’s not fair and unfortunate that we are being given the run around for these things that low income ppl so desperately need. A vet is very very expensive and all we want is our cats to be healthy. Calling that number to book appointments never seem to work because everything is time sensitive and stirct. Why can’t they just make things more accessible for the ppl that have Medicare and low income it shouldn’t have to be this difficult. We are getting nowhere and it’s so exhausting!!!!!!
