Description Glynn County Animal Services is a County facility that serves the citizens of Glynn County by enforcing animal ordinances, helping the homeless domesticated animals of Glynn County, adopting out animals that have been abandoned and trying to return found pets to their owner's.
We adopted a kitten from them and not only was he extremely sick, having diarrhea, throwing up, not eating, but they somehow forgot to mention this? After a $500 vet visit they then decided to tell me he had an upper respiratory cold, vet said it was parvo. This was within the first 2 weeks of us having him and they offered no reimbursement. if you are looking for kittens i would recommend going somewhere else if you aren’t trying to break your bank account. luckily we got our sweet guy healthy and thriving now. (the pics are the day we got him vs now)
I had to take a feral cat in to be put to sleep. I've been taking care of her for years, even had her spayed. Well, she must have gotten hit and had no use of her backend. So when she used the bathroom, she couldn't clean herself, so flies were on her and laid maggots. I called my vet, Dr. Tucker office, and they said it would be 250.00 to put her to sleep. So I called this place and spoke to Sharon, and she said to bring her in. They took her in, they gave her a sedative, and put her to sleep. Sharon was very good, thank you.
A good animal shelter with very limited staff. Thankfully I now have the space and was able to adopt the sweetest girl ever. Unfortunately I don’t have the time, space and resources to have all of them. If you have a chance go volunteer the poor dogs are in desperate need.
They are really carrying and they are really friendly and good staff they are very knowledgeable at this place about dogs and cats if you're looking for a pet I give this place the highest compliment to the staff please look in the adopting a dog or cat to your family you will be thankful for the joy a new loved one will bring to your life
We adopted this sweet 4 year old blue pit mix today from the Glynn County Animal Shelter. They had named her Shelia but we have decided to call her Kali. She is so loving and has big kisses for everyone. Kali has some eye issues but that will be fixed real soon. She has taken to her new bed and toys and seems to be very happy. She is a water bug and loves her baths. We are her forever home. ❤️
Met a bunch of adoptable dogs. It was hard to choose one, but we did. We are now the proud family of Petunia. Staff were awesome and explained everything we needed to know....thanks!
