We've rescued our 2 pups from Rompin Paws Rescue. They take such care to ensure that their dogs go to homes that have their best interest at heart. Yes the application can take time but if you are serious about loving one of these dogs then it's worth the time and effort. Thank you for all the love and time you put in to helping these amazing dogs find their forever homes. We love our Chase and Reesa!

Cheryl of Rompin Paws runs an excellent rescue. Can’t sing her praises enough…we adopted one chihuahua who’d been fostered and fostered to adopt another chihuahua that had been at the rescue for nearly 9 months waiting for her furever home…during that time Cheryl loved that girl like her own and gave her the best she was able to offer. We appreciate Cheryl’s dedication to dogs and that she earnestly vets all potential adopters to ensure the best pawsible match. She really cares about each animal, what their story is and who their furever people will be. Thank you Cheryl - there’s been nothing more rewarding than watching Liv and Lucy grow and become their cutest and best selves!

I met Cheryl and Dawne who helped me find and meet my forever best friend, they went out of their way to find the perfect match for me! As there’s so many incredible pups at the rescue, they’ve made an immense amount of effort to get to know each one. With that said these two wonderful women are completely devoted to finding forever homes for each and every little furry friend. I can’t express the amount of appreciation I have for them as even after I fully adopted my fur baby, they were always there to answer any questions I had and had no problem giving extra advice and recommendations towards diet, exercise, dog hygiene and much, much more! They are very knowledgeable people who really do amazing work for these rescue pups! I highly recommend this rescue group to anyone, especially people with little to no experience with dogs as they will provide you with any piece of advice or information needed to do it right!

Wish I could give negative 5 stars... I contacted this rescue in an effort to rehome a dog I have been fostering for over a year, and had been looking for a forever home for. I explained all the methods I had tried with no results and asked for help. The response I got from Cheryl via email was all about how people like me are the problem, and now I'm killing this dog by trying to rehome her, and "THAT'S ON YOU". She asked why I got a dog if I didn't have a plan to keep it, and then proceeded to cuss at me for being the problem. I had already explained that a family member had passed away, and I agreed to take the dog temporarily to try and find it a home rather than go to a shelter. I replied by telling her that she is supposedly a rescue who is not actually helping to rescue animals, or even give helpful information, and THAT'S ON HER. I asked for help, not her opinion on what a terrible person she apparently thinks I am. If you're looking to rehome your animal, don't bother contacting this lady. She's rude and disrespectful. Although, if you're looking to adopt an animal, she'll apparently be great to work with, as long as your previous pet hasn't passed away and you're willing to buy dog food from her rather than follow your vet's advice. Who does this lady think she is? Read the reviews here going as far back as 3 years... ridiculous!!

I am so lucky to have adopted two amazing furbabies from Cheryl at Rompin Paws Rescue!! I have no idea how she lets them go, I tried to foster the 2nd and just couldn't give her up. Cheryl has dedicated her life to rescuing and helping heal abandon dogs. She will teach you a lot about healthy diets and how to give your dog the healthiest life possible. Thanks Cheryl for filling my life with laughter and my heart with unconditional love!!

We adopted our Lilly Belle about 2 years ago. And even though we had another dog in our home only part time. Rompin paws still let us adopt Lilly AKA(Quake). She knew I needed a companion. Lilly was well taken care for and the made sure she had everything she needed. Sometimes they were so over protective it was a bit insulting. I feel Sometimes they need to have faith in their own processes and research and trust that their baby is truly going to a good home. But other that I highly recommend this is clean animal are well cared for facility.
