EXCELLENT service and care. I had been searching for a new vet for months. I took my dogs to a couple of different vets but I wans not comfortable with them. The techs and doctor at Aurora Hills Animal Hospital took the time to make my puppy and I comfortable during our first visit. They were more than thorough and compassionate and followed up after our visit. I would recommend the Aurora Hills no-stress care facility to anyone looking for a vet for their dog or cat. They show they care.
I really love the staff and care they provide. I've never had an issue with anyone being rude to me or misquoting me like other reviews have said. Every time I go in with my cats, they show me a quote for services and break down what each charge is for so I feel they are very transparent about pricing. Yes it can be expensive but pet care is expensive in general and I'm willing to pay more to know my fur babies are taken care of. The last vet I went to, I felt like he was very judgemental and condescending and didn't take the time to actually talk to me or explain things and I've never had that problem here. They're very hands on and even gave me printed instructions on how to help take better care of my kitties dental hygiene. All the staff are very sweet to my kitties who can be very shy in new places.
My pitbull puppy had a laceration on his paw. He was bleeding everywhere and since he’s 6 months he has a lot of energy. I was told by the older front desk lady to “keep him in the same spot so I don’t have to mop the whole lobby.” I feel that was pretty insensitive and rude considering i’ve spent a thousand dollars here in a week. Made me and my husband uncomfortable especially dealing with the stress of an injured dog. After my pups surgery they didn’t give us much aftercare and rushed the whole process. The E-collar they gave us was put it on so poorly he slipped it off in the lobby and it took 15 minutes for a vet to help us so we just left. The next time we visited sadly my dog cut his paw open again on the same paw due to the face the vets didn’t bandage his legs and let the stitches hang out. They charged me $40 for bandages with a total of $500 after spending $600 the week before. Which I feel is unfair considering he wouldn’t have cut his paw in the same spot if they bandaged it the first time. These people nickle and dime you and don’t care about your pet.
Took my 9 week old kitten in yesterday! Staff was great and Dr. Davies was awesome. They treated us really well! Ruby is the cutest staff member! We love Dr. Davies!!!
Looks like Aurora Animal hospital deleted my 3 star review so I’ll go ahead and make it one star. This business last time I was in on Tuesday 02/20 at 2:30 PM made my dog cry when clipping his nails and the vet tech Sarah did not say anything to me about it, which is why I left 3 stars. Happy not to be returning and will be reporting to the BBB for deleting negative reviews.
The staff is very friendly and supportive. Mary is upbeat and welcoming. Technicians are genuinely concerned about your furry baby. Doctor very proactive in your pet's care.
