I had a wonderful visit with my hamster - they were very friendly and caring, helped check him and make sure he was doing ok. Very welcoming and thoughtful atmosphere there.
very friendly and easy going to work with as a rescue needing medical information about a surrendered pet :)
My Border Collie puppy was playing with a stick in the yard and started choking. I couldn't see anything, but she was clearly struggling like something was stuck in her throat. I couldn't see anything, so I called Log Cabin Animal Hospital and was told to bring her right in. When I arrived, the staff was literally waiting at the door to whisk her away back to an examination room. They ended up having to sedate her (asked my permission first) in order to be able to remove what ended up being a fairly large sliver of wood from way back in her upper pallet which, by the way, was imbedded in such a way that she would never have been able to get out by herself. The staff kept me informed of every step of her treatment, and we ended up leaving with a healthy pup after only about 45 minutes. I was so impressed by their urgency and truly felt they cared about my girl. No more sticks for her!
I'm very thankful towards the animal hospital. The staff was very kind and compassionate when talking with me and dealing with Keyra. They let me have as much time as I needed with her before they put her to sleep and as much time after to say my final goodbyes to her. They explained how the process worked and some things that might happen so I shouldn't be too surprised if she jerks or anything. But when they did the first injection, Keyra instantly went. She knew it was her time and didn't fight it. And I sat next to her head the whole time it happened just petting her. She'll be privately cremated and the animal hospital will let us know when her remains are ready. I was told that it included a pawprint mold, but I didn't want it cause Keyra didn't like having her feet touched and I wanted that respected even in death, so they offered a nose print instead, which is better cause Keyra liked nosing people's hands and the like for attention. I'm gonna miss her so much. It's not going to feel the same after 14 and 1/2 years with her.
Have went elsewhere, to hard to get a appointment for my fully veted rescue other vet in town no problem just bring paper work @ first visit.
Worst office ive ever worked with, I took my cat in for 6 months for GI issues and they never fixed it, been taking my kitten 4 years asking why she butt scoots and only eliminates every 3 days, vet acted like I've never mentioned it before when I spoke to her recently, woman seems drunk and more concerned with whether my animals liked her than their health, constantly lying, constant misleading, refuse to do any work even life saving measures if you don't have the money no payment plans everyone is rude and they don't know your pets, constant pushing their big brand foods, my cats GI issue disappeared when I fed him non chicken food, they made me feed him chicken food for months without ever doing an allergy test, terrible service. Glad I never have to go back. Kitten has chronic issues with her spincter because of bad spay by them they raised the kitten I adopted her four years later they ask for pictures and about her life as if I haven't had her the whole time and they never fixed a single issue i brought her in for. Bad vet. Don't go.
