Amazing non-profit serving the homeless in Houston with free mobile showers, a change of clothes, new shoes, backpacks, hygiene kits, snacks, beverages, and more. Through partnerships with the community, Hearts of Rescue provides meals to the community, health screenings, hair cuts and more. They also provide bedding to sleep on and warm blankets during cold months. Their mission in serving the community goes above and beyond, driving out to where the homeless are, picking them up to bring them to the showers, and then giving them a ride back afterwards. They are by Manna pantry, so the people are also able to get additional food, clothing, etc., while also getting a nice, warm shower. The opportunities to volunteer with the organization are a blessing, giving back to the community and serving others is the most gratifying feeling! I’m so grateful for this organization and the opportunities they provide to the homeless and also their volunteers. Keep up the great work and wonderful service to the communities they serve.
