A little nervous at first to taking my animal here but after I got there and talk to the people and picked him up he was in great hands they took good care of him for someone that can't afford $500 to get their dog fixed this is a great place to go to. It's affordable I think I paid $140 and that's all because my dog was a little heavier and plus that comes with pain medication $7 a day I did one day. I dropped my dog off at 8:45 am and picked him up at 3pm. Didn't have any complications other than him wanting to lick it and chew it so I had to get a cone from PetSmart yes the cone of shame you will need one he did not like it he acted like it weighed a hundred pounds but once he was healed everything was fine. 10/0 recommend. Also have a website and they take donations of like trash bags gloves things like that to help keep the cost low.

This place is amazing and kind. Ms. Katherine was so attentive and patient. My Pit/Bully mix got spayed. The whole process was very easy and efficient. I added other items such as getting my Bonnie chipped as well as after care pain meds. Everyone was kind and answered all my questions. Will definitely come back and donate items that are needed!! I used the SOS Pit/ Pit mix Grant to get her spay done for $25!!

If I could leave 10 stars I would! It's amazing to have such a wonderful clinic in Macon! Vetting is getting increasingly more expensive , and I appreciate all the hard work the folks over at SAFE do! The vets who spend their time doing these low cost surgeries are doing pet owners a favor all over the place; Im extremely grateful! It is hard to get an appointment for bigger dogs, but its well worth it. I'd much rather spend $200 on a complicated Cryptorchid surgery than 500+ ; and I have a lot of faith and trust in the vets and staff here! We have had almost all of our pets, and a few strays fixed and vetted here and all of them are wonderful, happy and healthy! They're extremely organized, and all the info you could possibly need is up front and given to you in advance; its wonderful! I would recommend them over and over!

I have used this company for several years and I have never had an issue until this week. I was so thankful for their services and prices until I was literally charged 2x the amount you can purchase heartworm prevention online. I paid $32 a box last year and yesterday I was charged $130 for 12 doses of tri-heart for my dog who is under 10 lbs. I asked for a refund of the difference and I received a response that what I was charged last year was a steal of a price and they are not able to get that product for that price (I personally do not believe this). They also said “ We try to keep our prices as low as possible so people can afford to offer prevention for their pets”. “At $65/box, the price is still much less than what you would pay at a full service clinic for a year's supply of prevention.” I was advised I can return the medication but they are NOT able to provide a prescription for the medicine so I can purchase it myself. I asked for a supervisor or someone else to double check the prices and included information from 4 different websites that showed the amount of the medication for 12 months was less than $60 and so far my request has gone unanswered… I am very appreciative of what they do for the community and I understand if there is a slight mark up but 2x the price is not reasonable. It is beyond frustrating and especially in this economy.

I had 2 cats neutered at this location and am very pleased with their services! It’s only been a couple of days and am hoping all is well! Staff was friendly!

The interaction didn't inspire a lot of trust or confidence in the facility. Very disappointing and inaccessible UX/UI and facility interaction. Because it's a non-profit, a lot is forgiveable, but based on the interaction & experience, it seems like they're after the deposit funds.
