Every single doctor here is EXCELLENT! . I’ve had regular visits with multiple animals of mine over many years at Vinsons including sudden emergency surgery performed on my dog. Doc Smith has an intuitive knowledge of animals often within minutes of being with them. Her talent is wonderful to see especially when your animal needs help. Doc Kekel is wonderful, knowledgeable thorough, compassionate and sharp. She’s helped my dogs Allergy issues through very tough times Doc Forester is spectacular. He saved my dog from a small intestine obstruction that was life threatening. He is a trusted, compassionate PRO to see for ANY issue. Hands down an Excellent Vet for your animals!

Vinson has been my vet for decades. My family took our pets there when I was a minor, and now I've been going there with my many dogs and 1 cat. I lived in the city, and now I live in Edgemere, but distance does not matter. The quality of service this practice provides is unmatched. They have always made time for me in cases of an emergency and have been available to talk options through over the phone. In particular, I want to highlight the experience I've had with Dr. Smith and one of my dogs, who is not great with strangers to start with but will absolutely refuse being examined, poked and prodded, by any vet. Getting her into the vet for anything was a constant point of stress for me, to the point where I let her vaccines lapse, while for months desperately and unsuccessfully trying to get her into a muzzle. Dr. Smith was there for me every step of the way to offer advice, options for sedative medications, and ultimately, a safe solution. Whenever my dog goes to see them now, it's still an event at the office with multiple techs, clearing the waiting room, etc. but it's actually the least stressful I've ever felt about getting my dog care. We know what we are doing and I don't have to fear the alternatives. I feel valued as a client that they are willing to do this and so thankful that they have fit my difficult dog in with no judgement. I would recommend Vison's to anyone.

I simply cannot say enough good things about Vinson's. Dr. Julia treats your pet like a family member. She is caring, understanding, extremely knowledgeable, and professional. Truly a first class operation from beginning to end. She has seen all three of our litte doggies, and they like her too!
