We have been going to Russell Creek since we got our puppy 6 months ago. We've used this facility for vet checks, boarding, and daycare. Everyone is willing to answer our questions regardless of how many we have. I'm happy we have found a place that seems to care for our puppy as much as we do. We had an emergency family visit out of state before our puppy was done with her shots and they boarded her separately to accomodate her needs. Taking the extra steps to make sure she and the other dogs were safe really impressed us. They even sent pictures during boarding with her updates which helped so much with my nerves of her first stay! Overall a fantastic experience with this vet. Highly recommend!
We brought our cats in for a routine checkup. The facility was nice and everyone was very polite. The assistant insisted on taking our cats to a different room (without us), to take their vitals. Surprise! Our cats didn't like being taken away from their owners then handled by strangers. Since they struggled, they need to be sedated before the vet can examine them. Since they'll be in the same room as other animals for the sedation, they'll need a full battery of vaccinations, among other things. Nevermind that involves somehow vaccinating before sedating, or that vaccinations need at least a few days to take effect. Long story short, we're not sure they see enough cats to know how to handle them. An $80 checkup became $500+ per animal. We walked away. Would not recommend.
Been taking my dog here for 6 years now but I will no longer be sending my dog here for boarding. They recently had a staff change and I must say the quality and care both have tremendously been affected. We were not sent any pictures of our dog, the bed we had provided for the stay was not used(we told them he had no issue with chewing his bed), when it was raining and he got nervous they took away his bed. They even charged us for a test which was not done(still unsure what happened) and they continuously lied to my wife about it. In what world does that make sense! Horrible staff and horrible people. Shame on you all!
We love Dr Greenwood and his staff! We brought in a new rescue cat for shots and a health check. Dr Greenwood helped us so much with great advice, including giving us more accurate information about our kittens age than the shelter had. Staff is loving and gentle with our pet, and they were very receptive to getting us a very quick FU appointment… but more on that in my next review! We definitely picked a great vet and clinic!!!
This place is by far the worst pet clinic I've been to. They quoted me about $80 for an annual check up per pet, we brought both our cats in, they were unable to pull them out of the carriers by force and refused to let me help take them out. The doctor barely looked at one and they had the audacity to charge us for both cats. I didn't event get a report or anything for the one he barely seen. They also insisted on sedating my cats because they were unable to take them out of the carriers to do a full exam - and try to charge us for it, and because of that they will need to keep the cats with them and furthermore, need to vaccinate them because they have other pets in the clinic - which will again, cost extra. The whole time we were there they just kept asking for more money by creating senarios that they can justify the charge - sedation + vaccination. Then they proceed to suggest blood work for annual check up, which costs about $500 per cat. The total bill was over $1000 for both cats just for an annual check up. We ended up paying $80 for the doctor to look at 1 cat - just her eyes and ears. No report or anything, and we had to stand our ground for the other $80 they wanted to charge for the second cat that they didn't even look at. Stay the heck away from this place!
Russell Creek is an exceptional place to leave your fur-babiies! The team is WONDERFUL! Bailey had a great stay and so did our puppy Sterling! They send you text messages showing.you how your dog/cat are doing! I felt like the “girls” were very well taken care of and I know they cared!
