I recently took my dog, Shadow, to Windhaven Veterinary Hospital for a teeth cleaning, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The service and care provided by the team were outstanding from start to finish. Shadow's teeth have never looked better! The cleaning was thorough, and it's clear that the staff are highly skilled and dedicated to their work. Shadow was well taken care of and felt comfortable throughout the process. I am incredibly grateful for the excellent service and attention to detail. Shadow is happier and healthier thanks to Windhaven. Shadow gives Windhaven Veterinary Hospital a glowing 5 Paw Stars and highly recommends them to all pet owners. Thank you, Windhaven, for taking such great care of my furry friend!

Since relocating to Plano in 2023, our English Mastiff Larry has been a regular visitor for nail trims and various medical issues. Dr. Dubose and the staff consistently provide top-notch care, demonstrating compassion and expertise. Larry always receives the attention and treatment he deserves (and loves), making each visit a positive experience. I needed urgent care for my dog. Upon arrival, the women at the front desk were very nonchalant and uncaring. Told me that I would need to wait almost 2 hours to see someone. I asked if there were any other facilities close by as this was an URGENT situation. They referred me to another facility that was 20 minutes away. Needless to say, I left and took my fur baby to cityvet across the street. I called the office on the next day to speak with the office manager to discuss the poor service I received. I left a message and never received a call back. I was frantic on upon arriving at your facility. The employees showed 0 concern. Do better.

So far so good, we signed up for the yearly plan. $79 a month, decent deal for our senior dog who needed a dental and some growth removal. Overall, Dr. seems nice and well rounded, not the old school farm vet we’re used to, BUT we were impressed. Will update post yearly commitment.

PS: regarding the auto generated reply thanking me for a positive review. I just wanted to be clear with readers my review was NEUTRAL with a buyer beware sticker attached. I don’t even know if my dog is going to get better yet. Below is my review The Doctors and Staff are really nice and have big hearts. Having said that, be prepared for the West Plano mark-up. It’s not just the prices are high it’s the amount of testing and lack of coordination and communication with the staff. The assumption is you live in West Plano so you want the best care possible for Fido. So you don’t ask any questions and open your wallet. When I asked questions it seemed like I got multiple answers. Staff seemed two steps behind. Dr. Cummings did do a good job of keeping a lid on tests and costs after I raised concerns. Finally, we got answers and “hope” we have the right solution. It felt much harder than it needed to be. Update: after my review they “fired” me and my dog as clients. No problem. I will take my business elsewhere and find another Veterinarian

My little guy has been a patient of Windhaven since I brought him home in June of 2021. He knows no other team nor would I want him to. From his first wellness exam til present he always receives the very best care from the entire staff. The front desk, the technicians and of course Dr. Cummins are all so caring and kind as well as informative and professional. I would highly recommend.
