They are the best! They love and care for all the animals with such empathy and dedication. They keep everything so clean and sanitary and even close up a few hours periodically for deep cleaning. Staff are kind working with the public and communication is excellent. I love whoever is in charge of the social media page. They are on it!! Always filling it with important info and communication with the community as to what is going on day to day. Such as openings or closings for specific events etc. And I love the way they are always taking pictures or the adorable adoptable animals and posting them all the time. Thank you I appreciate all of you for the wonderful work you do. 🫶🏽🌞🏡🐶💕💖♾🌸♾

Rudest people ever. Trying to do the right thing and drop off a puppy that DID NOT belong to me. So much disrespect.

If you want good, knowledgeable people, go anywhere but here. I am a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College (one of the top dog obedience schools) and adopted a dog from OKC animal welfare who turned out to be a bit more than I could handle in my current situation. The longer I had him, the worse he got in my one bedroom apartment. Loved him so much. I tried to take him here for convenience sake cause I had work that same day. The staff proceeded to talk to me like I didn't know my dog or what I was talking about, saying that he'd act better if they temperament tested after I was gone (that's not how that works. When a dog is left in a strange place by someone they're attached to, the stress can cause them to act out) they talked down to me like I was less than and didn't just spend two years in school for animal behavior. Needless to say, I took him back to OKC where they understood my position, apologized that it didn't pan out, and I gave them as much info about him as I could to hopefully find him a good home. For the safety of the animals in this facility's care, more training and education on how a dog changes for the worse in a shelter environment is needed along with lessons in compassion and how to handle owners who are trying their best to do right by their dogs.
