Both my puppies unknowingly ingested fish hooks. I was able to successfully retrieve the larger 2" hook from Georgie; the other 1.5" hook in Riese's stomach was confirmed via X-ray and required emergency surgery. I am so grateful to Dr. Maria for, with no-notice, arranging the resources to save my puppy Riese's life and her gifted hands to do so gracefully and skillfully. Follow-up calls and texts are a courteous and professional, high-end level of customer care. THANK YOU!!!

My Australian Shepherd loves coming here and they treat him like he is family. He is a young dog, about a year old, and is an energetic handful but he gets plenty of attention and exercise. I also like that there is someone there almost all of the time; additionally my dog's vet is Baker Animal Clinic so there is direct access to his vet in case of an emergency when I am out of town.

They are very patient and gentle with my dog. She is usually very stressed about the vet due to past experiences at a different vet clinic but is all smiles by the end. Give great recommendations for how to slim down my chunky dog. Enjoy our visits every year.

They saved my cat's life that's really all that needs to be said, but I'll say more. My cat had a urinary plug and had to have emergency catheter put in. The staff was very good and you could tell they cared. I was especially impressed with Dr. Swanson. He stayed for 3 days (Thurs-Sat) though they charged me for 4. I didn't say anything because it was minor and they did save my cat, but I did notice. When I picked up my cat he was doing a lot better, but still recovering. I think it was Dr. Jackson who saw me when my cat was released. She did an okay job of interacting with me, but didn't seem as knowledgeable of the situation as Dr. Swanson. I returned about 10 days later for a check up and saw Dr. Gregario. You could tell she was very knowledgeable, but a bit brusque. She didn't do anything other than look him over because my cat was a little upset (hissing a lot). She was afraid he might bite so no temperature was taken. I know it's minor, but you would figure they would be able calm upset animals or at least deal with them. I guess since it wasn't an emergency though they didn't want to stress him out more and I get that but at the same time I would've liked nothing to have been skipped. They were a little upset with me also because I didn't get a urine sample. I didn't really understand how to though Dr. Gregario did a good job of explaining what I needed to do. Julia (?) told me about how to collect the urine sample when I took my cat home, but I was unclear on exactly how to do it (my fault). Julia was very nice I just didn't understand her properly. Staff was very friendly and helpful and did an amazing job of saving my cat as he was literally mere moments from death. I prefer the personality of Dr.Swanson over Dr. Gergario, but respect the knowledge Dr. Gregario brings.
