You have to pay $127 up front, ahead of time, to make an appointment. I've never heard of that in my life. I'm a senior, living on SSI (Disability), have extremely limited funds then obviously, my dog is my Service Animal and all I would like is to make sure he's not in age related pain and have his nails clipped. This up front wad of dough is truly not what I remember vets to be about. 😔

Great veterinarians. The Dr.'s are all nice and care about my dogs health and happiness while we're there. The receptionists are very friendly and always give my dog attention, plus they're good with keeping animals separate if they're not good with other animals. The vet techs always take good care of her and she comes out happy. We go in often for anal gland issues...one tech keeps her happy on the front end while another does the dirty work. They always let me know how it went which I appreciate. I took her in for a bump removal surgery once and they have a separate room for the dog to recover in, not a crate. Plus there's a parking lot! Thanks for taking such good care of Lulu and making her feel loved while we're there.

I’m a little late posting this, but I drive by this place all the time and think about my experience with this hospital. Last year, my dog had a seizure and was having issues. I rushed her to this hospital and pulled into the parking lot. She had lost consciousness, but was still breathing. I rushed inside to get some help and one of the staff workers came out took a look at her and said that they were closing in 30 minutes and unfortunately couldn’t take another pet. We then left and rushed down to the emergency vet clinic on Seventh Avenue and unfortunately by the time we got there she had passed. I am still blown away by the fact that someone in this line of work would turn away a very sick animal. I’m still heartbroken and miss my girl very much. I wonder what these folks could’ve done if they were able to take a look at her that day.

Amazing staff and amazing Doctors. We almost lost our dog Goldie and the doctors and staff moved quickly to save her life. They were committed not only to her survival but her aftercare as well. Their kindness, compassion and support during the incredibly scary time made us feel as though we were their only clients. I can't say enough kind words about them. If it weren't for the staff and doctors of VCA Broadway Animal Hospital we would have lost our Goldie and for that we are eternally grateful. They will always have a special place in our hearts.

I've taken my pet to this vet for about 7 years. I used to love the care my pet receive here, but since they were bought out by a franchise the care has changed. I took my vet in for an allergy concern and the doctor didn't even look at his skin, he simply swiped his hand over my pet and then prescribed some medication, which didn't work. When I called about a reexamination I was told I would have to pay a reexamination fee - despite the fact that the initial issue was never resolved. Now my pets allergies are much worse than before. I DO NOT recommend taking your pet to this vet. They now value profits over pet care.

Dr. Schelble and team (Monica, Kavita, Andi, Samantha, Amber, Maddie, Megan, Nancy, and everyone else whose name I don't immediately have on hand) have been absolute saints through my time with my pup, Jave. He is a reactive goblin of a dog, but I love him more than words can describe. He is a never ending list of GI, skin, and now organ issues, and they have helped me navigate through it all with kindness and patience. They have even adapted Jave's specific appointments to help keep him away from other dogs and allow me to hold him during injections. They have helped ease my fears and anxieties so I can help my dog get through his. Thank you so much, VCA Broadway!
