We’ve taken both our cats to this vet for almost 2 years now and the service has always been excellent. But I’d like to share an extra positive experience I had today. We had a stray show up at our home and not only did KMAH check for a chip, they were able to squeeze me in for a checkup before I brought kitty home to my other cats. Thank you to everyone that helped me today!

Dr. Carrie and the team are fantastic. My dog adores Lisa so much! All of the staff and Dr. Carrie treat her so well and shower her with love every time we come in. This is my 4th vet since I moved to the area 2.5 years ago and I finally feel good about the care my dog receives. I will say I have experienced them on their off days. My dog had a procedure requiring anesthesia and was put at the end of the schedule. (I didn't know this until after the fact). They didn't finish until after 8pm and then asked me to have her stay overnight with no supervision, so she could essentially wake up after anesthesia. This was a complete surprise. No discussion prior. I said no and was incredibly taken aback, especially when I was required to sign a waiver about taking my dog home against medical recommendations. And then my bill was hundreds of dollars (about 30% higher than I was quoted). They took $200 off of my $2000 dental cleaning. Yes, $2000. I paid a little over $1800, but was quoted a max of $1200. I believe this was due to an error in their estimate. I even asked for clarification and the quote was confirmed prior to the procedure. I did speak directly with Dr. Carrie afterwards, and I appreciate her and her staff, as well as the other doctors, but suffice to say I was quite upset. All this to say that I still take my dog there because that's how much I appreciate their care, although that particular day was an absolute disaster. They have given me free pet medication donated from a previous patient that had passed, and I thought that was nice. I have some pet meds from my little guy who passed last year that I will donate too. Nice option. And really, the front desk and staff are usually very on top of things. Like I said, I really think they just had a terribly off day. All of my receipts are mailed to me, as are all of my dog's records. They work with me on the continuing care for my dog, which makes me feel good about the treatment plan. Dr. Carrie always takes her time to discuss the issue, possible treatments and future directions. I appreciate her willingness to not rush through the appointment. Also, I never have a long wait to get in. So with all that said, I highly recommend them. Everybody has an off day and if I experience anything that egregious again I would be surprised. Only time will tell.

Cannot say enough nice things about this facility, staff, techs & the doctors. We are very happy we switched from our previous veterinary srrvice. Clyde is eating normally and they love the rawhide chews whice were recommeded.

The folks at Kennesaw a Mountain Animal Hospital make the world turn! We were not patients but in a dire situation when I made the call to KMAH and they did not hesitate to get her in. They waisted no time and did everything they could for my dog, made her comfortable and gave us a private space and as much time as we needed. They also took care of all of the details for us. We are grateful for the kindness and compassion they showed for some desperate strangers. Our other dog is now a registered new patient. If more businesses were operated by people like the staff at KMAH the world would be a better place. Thank you from the bottom of my broken heart.

I've been taking my dogs to this practice not long after they opened in 2010. Throughout the years we've had a retired racing greyhound, 3 maltipoos and a mini-goldendoodle puppy. All of them were cared for by Dr. Carrie and her practice. We love the vets and they treat our dogs like they belong to them. Their newest doctor is Dr. Rachel Lopez. Dr. Lopez is a favorite of our mini-goldendoodle. It's like Dr. Lopez speaks doodle. She always makes vet visits so fun for our puppy. She's such a fantastic addition to the practice. I highly recommend KMAH to anyone looking for a vet in the area.
