Lake Area Animal Hospital has been amazing with all my fur babies. I have been with them over 20 years. I do not trust anyone else to take care of my babies. They are honest and very trustworthy. If you are looking for a VET- take my advice and give them a try. You won’t regret it!! When I had to put my Pomeranian, Sugar, down they were amazing through my grieving process. They allowed me as much time needed before I left her for the last time.

It has taken me a little bit longer to write this overdue review because I was grieving the loss of my Ginger. Lake Area Animal Hospital was a blessing to me as to why my cat was so sick. I had taken her to a few other vet clinics with no actual answers but added medications. I just wanted answers to what was wrong with her. Even though the drive was over an hour from my home I didn't mind. From the moment I called to get Ginger in, until I left with my heart broken I had the best experience here. My heart broken because the news of my cat not being able to survive was devastating. But finally, I received answers. A few days later I received a card from this hospital with uplifting words from everyone. I cried and so full of emotions but thought this was such a caring thing to do. Thank you so much Dr. Hicks and everyone! Your hospital is where I want to continue to bring my little furbabies! Blessings to you all for what you do for families!

Wonderful and caring staff! Dr. Joseph Stark and all of his staff are wonderful beyond words! We live in Ragley, La. and pass by many other animal clinics to get to Lake Area Animal Hospital. Very attentive, professional and caring! Never in a hurry to rush you out the door. Extremely thorough in explaining every detail of our pets concerns and needs. I highly recommend LAAH to all of my friends and family!

My cat was very close to death due to a cyst and I was lucky enough to find lake area hospital. My little buddy was a new patient and they saw him the same day to treat the infection. Thanks Dr. Ashley for the great care.
