We adopted a small long hair cat from WCJCAS last year, and she has brought so much joy to our home. She loves the other cats and they love her too. On the first day she was here, she broke out of the bathroom and made friends with our giant black cat, and they have been inseparable since then. We are so glad the shelter took such good care of her, and we can’t wait to give her the long happy life she deserves.
I got my sweet dog disco at this shelter they are an amazing shelter and have fair prices if you are considering those they keep the dogs healthy and loved for until their forever home comes along i recommend this shelter to everyone I used to come in just to visit with the pets and give them extra loves and attention this is the best shelter I have ever been seen!!
We couldn’t ask for anything better when my daughter came here to adopt her cat . The workers were so kind to her and worked with her while she was looking at all the cats /kittens. She picked the one out and she loves her cat . 100% recommend ❤️
Go anywhere else. Genuinely. I adopted a recently spayed kitten last week, got her home and sectioned her off in my bedroom. Noticed over the next couple of days her energy level wasn't improving so I called the shelter and asked if the way she was acting was normal, they said no, take her to a vet. Took her to the vet, she had a herniated incision site which is seen mostly in kittens that have been spayed too early. So then I called the shelter back, they say bring her back so we can get a plan, they tell me they can take her back and have her seen, okay. Good with that. Cindy, the assistant director tells me I'll be able to readopt, but the whole conversation was passive aggressive, like they were hinting at it being my fault somehow. I have called all week with no luck on any information. Today I go in and the little red headed woman calls Cindy at her event, then comes back out and tells me that I almost starved her to death. Which is insane because I was literally told by the vet it will displace her organs and cause her to not eat and needed surgery immediately, so as I'm explaining that the lady tells me I'm wrong, and she doesn't need surgery, she was just not being fed. I seriously hope no one adopts this kitten, because they are refusing to get any care for this baby. Disgusting behavior, along with ignorant can't be wrong people. I'm appalled.
Please adopt this beautiful dog. She's 1 year old I just want her to have a good home. Inside dog but she loves playing outside! Very very well trained and just a shame nobody takes pets. It's crushing my heart 🖤🐈⬛
I adopted my cat Cricket from here. She was heavily infested with fleas which caused her to be anemic then she passed away. I looked at the papers I was given when I adopted her and during her 4 month stay there, the only thing they gave her was a rabies vaccine, nothing for fleas or anything else. She was untreated for fleas for who knows how long and I am heartbroken. I tried to treat her with flea medicine but it was too late. Please do better, she was a very sweet cat.
