We offer same day appointments, routine visits, dentals, and many surgery options. Along with our clinic hospital, we also offer a mobile clinic, serving all of Forsyth County. We also offer luxury boarding in our many suites and standard rooms. Need your pup to get their energy out? We offer doggy daycare, which is also included in our boarding stay.

Our senior golden boy stayed at Barkfield for 5 days. He is not a frequent flyer at dog resorts, so we are always a little worried when he has to stay somewhere. We picked Barkfield because when we visited last year, they were so friendly and even took us on a tour. All dogs seemed so taken care of and happy. This time, when we picked up our Golden Boy, the girl in the back simply brought him out and handed the leash to my husband. No one said a word as to how he did or really anything at all. I understand that they are sometimes busy, but my husband said they were not busy at that time. It would be nice to have had a few words exchanged as to how our dog did over his five day stay. Did he eat? Did he bark? Did he sleep? Any stomach problems? When my husband came home and told me this, I called and spoke with a girl at the front desk. She did apologize. A few words about how your pet did during their stay goes a long way, and hopefully, the girls at Barkfield will remember this when people are picking up their pets after an extended stay.

I have been bringing my pup to daycare here and he absolutely loves it. You can really tell that the staff loves the doggos and it is so awesome to see. My dog gets so excited when we pull in every day, and he takes the best naps after daycare. Every person I have talked to is so nice and helpful with all of my questions and inquiries. I am so happy I started taking him here.

We brought our older dog and our younger, pretty nervous dog to board here since we have always loved having our dogs here (boarding and vet care) and this time our dogs were pretty high maintenance and had some issues (our dogs personal struggles, nothing to do with Barkfield) and they went above and beyond to make sure our dogs were taken care of and the vet even stepped in to help make the dogs stay better until we got back and I truly can't thank them or recommend them enough!!! Would highly recommend them for everything!

Our amazing dog 13 y/o, Apollo was diagnosed with lymphoma almost two months ago. We had originally scheduled to get him euthanized with our vet at the vets office. We called Barkfield on a wing this afternoon to see if they accepted care credit and if they were able to come out today. Already being fully booked, Andrew went way out of his way and came by after he got out of work to lay our best friend to rest. Andrew was as courteous and as respectful as one could be, and gave us all the time we needed with our beloved Apollo. A big Thank you to Andrew and Barkfield for making this as least stressful as possible, not only for our two pups but for our entire family as well.

They worked me in a couple times on emergency, and I have now completely switched to them from a friend's practice further from home because of the exceptional care I've received on these visits. I've met all three doctors now and they have all been great. They are thorough and spend the time with you addressing all problems and needs. Highly recommend.
