I’m a snowbird and have been in Vero for 5 years. Never needed a local vet until I discovered my dog Otis’s rabies vaccine was expiring. I made an easy on app appointment based on the great Google reviews forVBVH. Got to the facility and was immediately seen by an associate who did the basics with Otis. Otis is an abused rescue and still very jittery. The nurse, wish I remembered her name because she was great, calmed him down and did the basics. Dr Schwartz was down to earth and really concerned with Otis’s health. Pretty thorough exam, quick rabies shot, and Otis was set and I now feel comfortable knowing I have an amazing local vet practice. Highly recommend!!! And I shouldn’t share this but VBVH is very, very reasonable!

I would highly recommend this facility for the excellent care of pets and family members!! Two emergency visits were handled fast and extremely efficient. The doctor and technicians went above and beyond to make sure our little girl Macy was comfortable and felt safe. We’re so fortunate to have found Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital, and Macy is too!

Very caring and knowledgeable staff. The prescribed care for both my Dog, and Cat was explained in a way that I could understand. I have been consulted prior to any procedure taking place ensuring that I’m comfortable with them moving forward. They also help you find ways to save money and manage your expenses. If you want the absolute best care for your family member I highly recommend Vero Beach Animal Hospital.

Dr. Schwartz was very, personable, knowledgeable and informative. The lab techs who assisted were excellent as well unfortunately, I can't remember their names. Jill who I spoke to on the phone, was personable, knowledgeable and accommodating, when it came to scheduling the appointment. Over all it was a great experience and highly recommend them. Thank you all.

So friendly and professional. I boarded my dog for 4 nights, and he came home so happy and loved the stay. The kennel areas are so clean with a huge yard for dogs to run around in. I highly recommend this place.
