We had to take our dog in for major surgery splenectomy. We almost didn’t come here because of all the bad reviews but we had two vets confirm their credentials for kinder. We took in our dog they were kind and answered all our questions. These bad reviews annoys me because kinder made these procedures affordable and more accessible so our animals don’t suffer and we almost didn’t go because of the reviews. We will be going back for our dogs dental care also. We saved at least 8000-10000 by going to kinder. So grateful they exist because we wouldn’t have been able to pay for this procedure and our dog might have internally bleed to death.
This is the best VET and also reasonable and affordable compare it with others. Mark and Ernesto are super knowledgeable and good persons and they save my puppy after being attacked by another dog. They spot something that not even MASH did, being 80% more expensive. Totally trusted. Thanks again
I am forever grateful to the dedicated team of the animal hospital who went above and beyond to save my injured cat. From the moment I rushed through their doors, they handled the situation with utmost professionalism and compassion. The skilled veterinarians worked tirelessly to repair my cat's injuries, ensuring every detail was taken care of with precision. It was evident that their expertise and years of experience shone through during the entire process. What truly amazed me was the affordability of the surgery. I was astonished to discover that their fees were significantly lower than what I had anticipated. They truly exceeded my expectations. Their kindness and genuine concern made me feel like my cat was in the best possible hands. Today, I am overjoyed to share that my cat is not only alive but thriving. Thanks to the skillful surgery and the unwavering dedication of the hospital's staff, he has been given a second chance at happiness. I cannot express my gratitude enough to the entire team of the animal hospital. I will forever cherish their exceptional care, knowing that my feline companion owes his life to their expertise, affordability, and above all, their genuine love for animals.
We cannot begin to express how grateful we are for Kinder4Rescue. But I'm going to try. After a long, harrowing day of trying to figure out what we were going to do to save our "fur baby," being told we needed emergency surgery or else she would die in 24 hours, being told the surgery had to be done out of town, going to that hospital and being told it would cost $8,000 dollars, we were feeling defeated. We found Kinder4Rescue, and from the moment they answered the phone and asked our emergency they got us in ASAP at less than half the cost we were quoted. Thank God for these people who helped us feel taken care of, and most importantly who saved our dog's life. We are so happy we came here. They even texted us an hour after they were closed to notify us that our dog was resting and the surgery was successful and sent us pictures of her. If you need an emergency surgery, this is absolutely the place to go.
I have a couple of separate reviews for this place: Cost: My dog needed emergency surgery, and it cost me $3500 here compared to the $17k they were trying to charge me at Access in Culver City. Staff/Owner: 2/9/24 The owner, Laurel, is rude and racist. My pet needed emergency surgery and I called to inform her that I would be sitting behind the building on a call for court but that I'm here. She began yelling at me and told me to calm down and that I was being aggressive. I told her I was calm and I was just calling to let her know that I'm still here if I'm needed. She continued to yell at me and told me that if I didn't like how she was speaking I could take my dog and leave. I'm the first to say if I'm being over the top, and that was not the time. Why would I be horrible to the people that are about to perform emergency surgery to possibly save my dog's life?!?! I began to walk to the front of the building to inform the staff that I was out back and the owner comes barreling out the back door of the building to slap a "RFKJr 2024" bumper sticker on her car. She sees me and yelled at me again that she didn't have time for me and if I didn't like her treatment I could take my dog and leave. The other staff were okay, they weren't very informative, compassionate, or caring. While in the lobby area several other clients were inside trying to ask questions, and the staff weren't explaining procedures to them either, or why some things were necessary. They just wanted the bill paid and for us to go back outside and get out of their hair. Care: My dog was viciously attacked Thursday night and I brought him here from another hospital on Friday morning for care/treatment. The staff, despite me telling them it was an emergency, didn't take him very quickly. The staff also didn't do a very good job of communicating what would be happening with my dog. They took him to the back and I was unable to see him again. They told me they were neutering him, too, even though he was there for emergency abdominal wall repair surgery. After surgery his lungs collapsed and he almost died, again. They do not have doctors on site at this facility at night. They only have 1 vet tech. They called me to tell me he either had to be transferred or he would die because they didn't have the proper equipment to keep him well. He was transferred to another facility, stayed for a few days, and is now home and recovering. All in all, this could have ended poorly, and I'm grateful it didn't. However, the folks working at this facility need to do a better job with being communicative and compassionate. I've seen other posts about other low cost facilities and I suggest going there before coming here. Update on Owner's demeanor: 2/16/24 I called for a refund because my dog was transferred and didn't stay overnight nor did he come home with meds. That's fine, but no one called to say they owed me a refund. I spoke to the owner and told her he was doing well and the other place had the equipment needed and that saved him. And she responded with "we don't get a thank you for doing the surgery?". I honestly don't know what her issue is, but she shouldn't be working with the public.
I called because I had an emergency last night. My service dog jumped off a high building and possible bone fractures not sure I’m calling around and they gave me this number the lady answered. And was so rude and told me “if it happened Yesturday why are you waiting till now”. First off don’t be rude he’s a service dog and injured himself after hours I had to work I barely got this number because affordability I’m a single mother and this horrific indecent is too much. This place needs to be more sympathetic dog care is expensive and people look for affordability. I told her how rude she was and I will not be going there if I do end up going on Monday then I will be speaking to the owner and filling a complaint with the board of veterinary services.
