Description Purrfect Pause is the shelter partner of Front Range Freedom Rescue. We offer a unique, cage free experience to interact with adoptable cats. Come find your purrfect feline friend in our psychedelic cat forest or take an hour out of your day to relax and get some therapurry! We have coffee, tea, and snacks available for purchase as well as cat themed gifts and cat toys. We have an entrance fee which gets you one hour of cat therapy. Our pricing is $15 for adults, $12 for students (13-17 and university)/seniors (62+), and $8 for children ages 8-12. At this time we only allow children ages 8 and older inside the cafe for safety reasons. The cats are excited for you to visit! Visit our website to schedule your visit.

This was a real delight and a highlight of our time in Boulder, the cats were all adorable, playful, and super friendly. We got to pet them, they hopped on our laps, and they were enamored with the plethora of tubes, toys, and cat trees in the cafe. The woman who greeted us was very sweet, and helpfully accommodated our group of 5. We did not try any of the human treats, so I can't speak to those. A warning, reviews mention the order, and unfortunately that was true of our visit. The cafe smelled strongly of cat pee. This was dramatically exacerbated by their AC being down, and while that is not their fault, the giant swamp cooler fan blowing the air towards the door was a poor choice. We were able to put on surgical masks that made it a non-issue, and we would happily go again, but be aware. If you have a strong reaction to the smell of cat pee, I suggest popping your head in before paying the $15 entry fee.

We absolutely love Purrfect pause. Not only are the cats fixed, they have all their vaccinations and are socialized with other cats and people. We adopted this Purrfect little angel and couldn’t be happier. They gave us a little adoption kit and all of the resources to make sure she is happy, healthy, and has a smooth transition. We will definitely be returning to the cat cafe in the future .🐾🤍🐾🩶🐾🤍

I love this place! I’ve been here 3 times now and all three times went perfectly! The staff are very kind and respectful, the cats are very cute (and all mostly up for adoption too!), and just a wonderful place to de-stress for an hour! s(=^•.•^=)♡

Definitely a highlight on my birthday trip to Boulder was stopping by this wonderful cat cafe. This is a great way to interact with cats of all ages and give them some much needed attention. I enjoyed thoroughly going through and playing with them all. The cat cafe had an extensive amount of toys to utilize which made the hour time slot go very fast. It was a clean atmosphere and wasn’t crowded at all. If you’re an animal lover I would highly recommend stopping by here and spending some time with the cats.

We came here for the first time 2 days ago and had to go again today we loved it so much! What a wonderful way to get cats adopted and let people get to know a cat before they adopt. And it's a fabulous place to hang out for an hour if you like cats. The cats are sociable, often coming up to you to play or get some pets and snuggles. My latte was nice and the kids enjoyed their hot chocolates. Nothing fancy but it was just right. We came for the cat snuggles and were nowhere near disappointed. I highly recommend coming, it will warm your heart.

My daughter wanted to hang out with the cats for her birthday. Upon arriving I think the smell was very overwhelming, but it softens as you stay. Cats were playful and most allowed you to pet them. This is a good cause and you can get your cat fix without having to own one. I think an investment in a few more air purifiers and some air flow would do great things for the customer experience.
