These guys are great!!! I found a baby squirrel with his eyes still shut today on the job. I do creek patrol. The little squirrel who I named little buckaroo was on the ground and this guy who was there as I walked up was poking him with a stick. He left when I walked up, I suspect because I'm in my uniform plus I moved in between him and the squirrel, Anyway, I looked around for mama squirrel for about 20 minutes but nothing, so I got gloves and picked him up and put him on a tree which he struggled to hold himself there so I put him in my hand and he curled up. I searched online and called Sonoma County Wildlife and Rescue and after sending them pictures of the squirrel, which they needed to confirm it was actually a squirrel, they responded with, we need him ASAP, so I headed straight there and and did the intake paperwork, left a donation for his care and I was on my way. They gave me an intake number so I will be able to check up on his progress which I will do. The cool thing is he's safe and when he's strong enough and healthy, they will be taking him and releasing him back to the location I found him. I really appreciate SCWR for their services that they do for wildlife ❤️ much love to you guys ❤️

Thank-you so much for coming to pick up a sick injured raccoon so quickly. I called 5 different animal organizations before a friend referred me to your wildlife rescue.

Fantastic & educational for the entire family. We had a wonderful time this past rainy weekend. The volunteer was excellent and answered all of our questions. This was the highlight of our weekend adventures in Petaluma. Thank you

Great organization. They showed us their bobcats, shy pumas, possums, raccoon, hawks. They try to release back to the wild if possible. They only display those that cannot. Nice enclosures and interesting presentation before. Highly recommended for school field trips. This was 6th grade and was right at the level. Also, the sell owl boxes for humane gopher control.
