Down into the Mariana Trench is NOT someplace I'm interested in seeing! My hubby and I enjoy the films with all the strange, spooky things waaaaay down there but NOT for me! "How high are the mountains, how deep is the sea?" I pray for those who have a "need to know!"

I've been to some humid locations but this takes the cake. Between the humidity and hydrothermal vents it beats out Louisiana in the summer. The pressure is infinitely worse than trying to walk a New York street, and our ride was and incredibly cramped titanium sphere. The only reason it gets 3 stars is the view. The scenery and wildlife unbelievably out of this world.

I loved the food, but I was disappointed that there was no complimentary oxygen. Their mermaid made the food so it was a little bit fishy. Aside from my spouse drowning, I had a great time.

I must agree with the majority of reviews! It's dark and cold or boiling depending on who you take as a guide. But sadly outside of the occasional plesiosaurus, Movie Director, UFO or nightmarish glow in the dark fish there is really not much to see. However the food is wonderful! The sad part is the help is very rude. I guess they feel that they can treat you anyway they want because the next closest place to eat is Tokyo. All in all I feel that this is a tourist trap. Perhaps better parking next time.

Unlike the previous reviewer I found the trench to be of an appropriately satisfactory depth. However the state of the local hotels leaves much to be desired. Also the address listed is wrong and I'm afraid that this incorrect listing cost me a lot of money with the car hire company. It was only then that I discovered - woefully too late - that my travel insurance didn't cover this type of loss. Lesson learned: make sure your insurances are all up to date BEFORE you travel.

A bit obscure from where I stand. Not too hot but very high humidity. The staff was deeply disturbed. I felt pressured to stay longer than intended and they kept me in the dark about how to get back. Don't hold your breath for a tip.
