Took our lil girl to Out West after she ripped her stitches. They fixed her up and sent us off with everything we needed to sleep easy. Very professional, caring, and prompt. Many thanks!

I took my little dog to OutWest Little Rock after she was struck in the face by a copperhead. They started her care and monitoring immediately upon walking in the door, and had a treatment plan with antivenom prepared quickly. Their ability to make smart decisions quickly, not only saved her, but she suffered very minimal post reaction wounds and necrosis from the bite. One of the hardest parts of an emergency, is handing your pet over to someone you don’t know and trusting that they will do their best. While all you can do is wait. After this experience, I would not hesitate to take any of my pets back here. It’s the only emergency care experience I’ve had, where they communicated with me consistently, and kept me updated on her care. Even bringing pictures to show me that she was okay. The empathy they showed me, while keeping up with a busy clinic, made the situation bearable. Thank you OutWest, Dr. Brooks, Courtney and Stephanie! You guys are next level, and we wish you the best in continuing to build your clinic!

This is the emergency vet you are looking for to save your fur baby. My Tater, an olde english bulldog was throwing up stomach bile and not eating for 2 days. She eats everything and then some normally. Joseph and Dr. Laura were amazing and helped us figure out that she needed emergency surgery for a tube sock long hairball in her stomach that was making it's way into her intestines. They saved her life and I am beyond grateful to everyone that helped my girl.

Update : I took our dog to our actual Vet. He was able to take out the piece of wood / glass in 10 minutes. Then she was great. Unbelievable the service at this place. See below for more details.... I changed my review to one star from two. Due to the negligence of the staff. As my dog sits here screaming in pain when her paw is touched because she still has glass in it that the vet said didn't exist. If I hadn't pushed back and said I saw the glass and showed her where it was, she would have just sent us on our way as if we brought our dog in for nothing. Suffice to say she said it would just have to work its way out. My dog can't even walk at this point without major pain. They should be reported for negligence. Below is my original review ... My dog has a piece of glass in her paw. I tried to get it out with tweezers but couldn't. I could see the glass by putting light on it. I took her in to this vet. I carried her because I did not want her stepping on the paw and making it worse. I told them what was going on. They got us a room. I kept her laying down because I didn't want the glass to go in further or have her damage her paw more. When they finally took her I thought they were going to look at it and try to take it out. Instead they put her in a cage for over an hour where she proceeded to jump and make awful sounds trying to get free. Rather than keeping her safe with me where she could be calm and lay down until they could look at her paw. By the time they looked at it it had gone deeper into her paw. The vet came out and said there was nothing there and she was fine. She was NOT fine. I had looked at the paw with my cellphone light while sitting w her in the room. The glass was still there sticking out a tiny bit. I told them there was glass. They said they could do X-rays but there probably wasn't anything there. They took X-rays. Nothing. Then the Aha! moment where they decided I may be telling the truth. She took a light and shines it on her paw and saw the glass. But by that time it was so lodged in her paw the vet said she couldn't do anything. Then she said again she is walking fine. No she isn't. That is adrenaline from being trapped in a cage and wanting to be with me. They even said she was fine until they caged her. They could have put her back in the room with me to lay down until they were ready for her preventing her from being distraught and making the paw worse. She is STILL limping and in pain. We are taking her to our vet ASAP. Very disappointed. I give 2 stars because the people were nice at the front and in the room. That doesn't excuse how they treated the situation.
