Description CARE is a 501(c)(3) Arkansas nonprofit corporation and a charitable organization fully funded by donations. We do not have a physical shelter as all of our animals are in a foster home or the Arkansas Paws in Prison Program. CARE relies heavily upon volunteer assistance to operate. Volunteer support is essential to accomplishing CARE's mission. Many different volunteer jobs are available including fostering, case working, showing, and transporting adoptable animals.

They offer new families counseling on adapting to their new family member, and they give invaluable support to adoptive parents. Great place! We are fostering a puppy for them right now. They provided everything, food, kennel, toys. They always anwser ot call back ASAP. Good organization just trying to help animals

i am glad to hear this organization is careful about where they place pets in forever homes. I cared for stray cats and would follow up months later with the families that had taken them in. I would have to take them back as they were not being cared for properly. I would often pay them to let me take them back. best to screen future homes carefully. Some people are frankly incapable of caring for animals.
