I don’t typically write reviews but I felt like this was necessary. I took my kitten here in January and my gut told me from the moment I walked in that this wasn’t a good place. First off the vet didn’t speak to me once only his techs did. Secondly I brought my kitten’s vet records (she’s from a breeder) and was told that the vet “may not accept them” because breeders can lie about what vaccines were actually done (which wasn’t my case). So they wanted to charge me for the vaccines that were needed plus the ones that were already done. They told me it would be $350 for all of her vaccines. I was hesitant about it so the tech quickly changed her tune. She said the vet will still do the remaining vaccines that are needed. Then I asked the vet to check my Kitten’s chin to confirm if what I felt was not a possible tick. He not only didn’t look at her chin but then he proceeds to say it’s acne and he’s prescribing a $100 antibiotic. Then the vet just walks out. Something didn’t feel right so I told the tech that I’d just pay for the check up (which was like $47) and come back if I decide to get the vaccines there. So the tech leaves and comes back and says it will only be about $147 if I get the antibiotics. I again said no thank you. I felt like the vet and his staff were just trying to up sell me. Now fast forward to March, I decided to take my kitten to Vetco for her shots and found out that all of them are less than 200$. Not to mention, the vet spoke to me directly and thoroughly examined my kitten. All in all, if you’re thinking about bringing your pet to this place, DONT! They’re just money hungry and don’t care about the well being of your animal. If I could give 0 stars I would’ve

Don’t go to this place if you have reptiles for a pet. They are not reliable to care for your pet. Beware! They do not stick with the appointments. Having appointment is useless. They will still make you wait for 3 hours until they finally get to attend your pet. This place only care for cats and dogs only, even though they say they also see reptile. It’s totally a lie!!! Don’t waste your money to this place. Go somewhere else.

Great customer service… my dog ingested something toxic and had no movement on his hind legs. I called Firestone Animal Hospital with this emergency and was told to take him in. Minutes from getting there we were taken in and the veterinarian checked my dog, asked a few questions and gave us a diagnosis. My dog was given three shots and prescribed a diet and we went home. Within a few hours he was making effort to mobilize himself and it was until the next day that he regained full mobility of his hind legs. We were so relieved to see him get better. We returned for a check up and all was resolved. Thank you, Firestone Animal Hospital for your care.

Save yourself the money and do not take your pet to this vet. I regret not reading the negative reviews and going by the star rating. I brought my pet in for an emergency visit. During my 3.5 hour visit, the vet had to be reminded by his staff that he needed to go back and see our pet (we were the only patient at that point). We paid nearly 1k with the exam, blood work and fees only to find out from my pet’s longtime vet that he was misdiagnosed with diabetes. I am grateful I did not purchase the insulin they kept trying to prescribe. When I asked for the lab results the front staff was rude and unprofessional. I hope my review helps someone else. There are other vets in the area so do your research and save yourself the negative experience.

So I usually don't write reviews but felt I needed to for this. The team here is great, they treated my dog kindly and even fed him after his surgery and were very careful with him and the complications that he had with his neutering. The only aspect that was a frustrating to deal with was the older receptionist and the way she explained things. On more than one visit she had told me the charges would be X but when I got the actual invoice it was.something else and had to ask another receptionist to clarify because she would.only repeat herself. After the whole neutering process I went to pick up my dog and she told me my bill was like 1k which did not sound right because I had already put a deposit down. Now I understand that people can forget things and that's not what upset me, what did was that she very bluntly told me that I hadnt payed anything, so I said ok let.me getmy phone and I'll show you the bank statement, and when i came back sge was on the phone with another employee who informed her that i in fact did, BUT then she tried to say it was 50 less than what i paid and wouldnt listen when i tried to show her my statement. I feel like she thought I was trying to get out of paying the full amount but also feel she wasn't listening to what I was saying and when I asked about a charge I wasn't told about she assumed the worst. I get it, people can be awful and try to do that but i wish she would have just listened. Anyway, as far as care and clarity goes with the rest of the team they were caring, professional and sweet with me and my dog, not to say the older receptionist wasn't, again it was only when I asked about the bill that she came off as uncaring. The main vet was also very calm and careful about how he approached the procedure and would definitely recommend this vet to anyone.

So the $120 is technically just a skip-the-line process of getting your dog attended faster. Couldn't believe the amount the vet bill came out too. Under stress, it's important to remain calm and do your best to get the right treatment. But not for here. I got serviced and damn for what they prescribed and done with my pet. I could do it alone. Not worth coming here. Couple of stitches and that's a wrap.
