Open Arms Adoption Services is hands down the best in the industry. I have vetted many adoption agencies before crossing paths with Open Arms Adoption Services and it has by far been the best decision I have made along my adoption journey. This agency has made my experience less stressful, reassuring, and overall humbling. Both the Agency Director and Attorney is very welcoming and truly embrace you with Open Arms which makes the organization's name even more significant. Their communication is very transparent and their ability to maintain busy schedules while also creating a space where you can call and ask questions at any time is impeccable. Once I matched with a birth mom, I was given reassurance that her needs were being considered in every way possible which was very important to me. The Agency Director guided us in building an amazing connection in which we now maintain post placement. My husband and I can't say enough good things about Angela White at Open Arms Adoption Services. She was commutative, transparent, and proactive from start to finish. There were no surprises on the process, and we felt prepared every step of the way because of Angela's professionalism. It was also beautiful to beautiful to witness Angela mediate between us and the expectant mother. It was the perfect balance advocating for both side's needs. We traveled across the country, and were away from our home for over two weeks, which was hard, but Angela helped us know where to stay, and check in on us multiple times a day while we waited for baby to be born. We consider Angela a friend and she will always hold a special place in our hearts having helped with the process of adopting a beautiful child.

I can not say enough good things about Open Arms Adoptions Services and it's leader Angela, I am so happy with how our adoption process went and how all parties were respected and supported throughout the adoption journey. Angela is the definition of compassion and resourcefulness and gently held our hand through the various stages of interviewing with the expectant mother, being matched, traveling to Louisiana, the birth and hospital stay, placement, ICPC (paperwork and court permission to travel back to our home state) and now awaiting finalization. Open Arms believes in transparency and puts the expectant parent's needs first as it should be. I could not have asked for a better agency and have referred them to many hopeful adoptive parents in and out of Louisiana!
