I was told by pet stores to bring the cuban tree frog i rescued from my work (floral & plant warehouse/greenhouse) to the herpetology society... googled and the above popped up. IT'S JUST A SCHOOL. No one there had any idea where i should bring him and then a teacher offered to put him in the museum. I guess it's better than being picked apart by a bird or suffering in MN weather. My heart aches and im disappointed in this whole experience. I just wanted to save this tiny frog that was harvested from his homeland only because he was chillin on his 6" Spath house. At least his death will be quick and he'll be admired for ages. The ecology building students that helped me were very sweet. I drove from Plymouth to St.Paul and i get motion sickness easily... so unhappy right now. RIP "froggy" (didnt wanna get attached)

My family & I LOVE the Herpetological Society. These are our adoptees & we HIGHLY recommend if you want a reptile pay the $20.00 membership fee to adopt or foster for free. With the raffel they hold you can win accessories orc even a cage like we did.

This organization does a great job of educating people about reptiles and amphibians, finding homes for animals in need, funding scientific research, doing public park surveys and more! Great group!
