AMAZING PLACE!! The owner was so kind and you can tell he really loves the birbs. We got 2 green cheeks from him. Tessa(the owner named her) and Pedro. Tessa has been an amazing addition the last 2 years and Pedro only loves my hubby haha. Tessa talks so much!! We really love our feather babies.

John was able to help me rehome a budgie which I have been struggling to do so !! He was super friendly & it brings me comfort to know that this birdie will have a better life under his care & hopefully when they get a new forever home, thank you so much again John !!

I first found Birds of a Feather Rescue when in need of a cage for my macaw, that I rescued from a gentleman in Benicia, who had given me John's number (the owner). A real loving, caring , and knowledgable avian caretaker. We have since fostered and homed several bird from this rescue. He is one of the kindest people I've ever met. He will even bird sit our birds when we go on vacation at a very reasonable price.His entire home is dedicated to the birds that he rescues and loves. If you are looking to home a bird, first be sure to do your homework and understand the undertaking you are about to embark on because birds need a lot of care, attention and patience. John Is also very reasonable with his rehoming fees so I alway try to donate more than he asks for. If you can find it in you heart PLEASE DONATE TO BIRDS OF A FEATHER RESCUE. Cause no-one deserves it more because I know he will use every bit of it foe those birds. thanks for reading

Amazing place to get away from the city. Having extraordinary experience with parrots and can have individual experience with them. The carers are very dedicate and sacrificial. By provide the parrots a safe place

John (the owner) at Birds of a Feather Rescue is passionate about parrots and domesticated birds (chickens, ducks, geese). He is very knowledgeable and he genuinely cares about each bird. He does not take in wild birds because they carry diseases that could kill his flock of birds. He has Macaws, African Greys, Conures, and Love birds. He understands parrot behavior and their anatomy, which is impressive. Please donate money, food, or parrot supplies to Birds of a Feather. It is a worthy cause and John takes in birds that many parrot owners can't take care of anymore. He is the bird-whisperer. Even the most aggressive and anti-social bird will love him and warm up to John, he has a special way with birds.
