Love Labelle! They are an amazing organization that saves so many dogs and gives them beautiful lives! My family has been fostering for them for years and has witnessed firsthand their dedication and advocacy for animals in need! I’ve heard some criticism because of the “high fee”- but a) when you adopt a dog from Labelle they have been been vaccinated, sometimes spayed/ neutered- all things that would amount to MORE than the fee if adopted elsewhere. B) Labelle literally saves lives of dogs that other humans have given up on- I’ve personally fostered dogs with medical bills of upwards of $10,000. (All now living happy healthy lives!) And C) people need to realize that unlike shelters, Labelle is not subsidized by the government. So it literally operates off the donations of kind hearted people. I can’t express enough what an amazing organization Labelle is. So many humans have found their furry soulmates all thanks to the WONDERFUL people at Labelle!!

I had a great experience with the Labelle Foundation and I am so thankful for them!! I rescued a beautiful dog from the shelter who was about to be euthanized, and to my surprise, found out she was pregnant two weeks later and was due to give birth any day. The shelter adopted her out to me without informing me she was pregnant, so I was shocked to discover this and completely unprepared to have so many puppies in my small apartment!! I reached out to the Labelle Foundation to see if they could help. They graciously took in Georgia and her 11 puppies, and are in the process of finding all of the puppies forever homes now! We have our Georgia back now and she is doing great, as well as her puppies with their fosters until they find permanent homes. Thanks to the Labelle Foundation we were able to keep Georgia from going back to a shelter while also providing a safe place for her and her puppies. The Labelle Foundation came to the rescue in this situation and I will forever be grateful for them!

I recently got a dog from Labelle. I love her to pieces, but this foundation does not give enough information about the dogs. I was told one day she was mine and I could pick her up from the foster. I had to repeatedly ask for her paperwork and it was until after she was home that I was given that. Even then, there was hardly any information on there. In her Instagram blip (the only information there really was about her) they stated she is 4. When I took her to get spayed, turns out she’s actually 8 with a bad skin infection. I just wish I would have known beforehand. All this to say the dog was in their care for over two months before I adopted her so clearly she was never taken to a vet or anything. They care more about the numbers than the dogs themselves.

Labelle is a wonderful organization! I looked for months for my perfect pup and came across many organizations. I followed Labelle for daily updates on available dogs as well as the work they were doing. I visited one dog and ultimately it was not the right dog for me. They were patient, helpful, and understanding throughout the whole process. When one dog became available one day, I fell in love with her. I reached back out to the adoption coordinator I had worked with previously, and she was responsive and helpful. I was set up for a visit the following day! The foster (who now works for Labelle) who took care of her was amazing. She let me visit my pup for a while, answered every question, and even got me started with some supplies. We're still in touch now and she's been such a blessing throughout this process! I highly recommend Labelle and I'm very thankful for my experience with them.

I own 2 puppies from Labelle and have fostered over 90 moms and pups for them, to say I adore working with them would be an understatement! Rescue is so tough and it just keeps getting tougher. The people working at Labelle do not let the hard times keep them down—they are on a mission and keep working at it! It’s so admirable how hard each of them work!!
